Hey guys, just thought I'd post this up... I just found out about "Geocaching" never heard of it before... so I figured I'd look it up, and now oddly think I may take it up, and since some of you Londoners wanted to go on rides it may be an ideal opportunity.

It seems to involve treasure hunting down boxes with a GPS, with tons of variations on it, just signing up today to see if there's one near by since it'll give me a chance to go out and ride :D

I got the Geocaching app on the iPhone.

Took a look and went and found one close to me, was alright and I agree that with a group of Zoomer banging around London taking snaps at the points would be a good excuse for a ride and then a beer afterwards.

I tried it once...it was fun until somone smashed an egg inside the cashe. Summer heat + raw rotten egg. Also becareful when you open some that someone didnt piss or put shit in it. I lost interest fast after learning all that from people who do it often :dubious:

Been and done it out on the moors etc but never fancied doing it in the urban setting especially after the place that had a terror alert when some one was seen pushing a box back under a bin http://www.longislandpress.com/2011/07/06/geocaching-leads-to-bomb-scare-in-uk-town/. its a good way of getting people used to reading a map makes it more exciting for them but there's always people out to spoil a bit of innocent fun
