Picked up this CT70 off craigslist. I was looking for a CT70 and kinda jumped the gun as this thing was a real piece of shit. A bunch of parts were missing so there's no point of trying to make this thing original. The guy had it apart and then we I told him I'll take it he must have quickly put it back together. This has been a slow build as I'm in no huge hurry. This thing is going to have a mixture of new parts and reconditioned parts that I've blasted and power coated.

New parts: New rear shocks, new front shock setup, BMX handbars, tires, chain, 125cc Liftan engine, new 12v harness, all new bolts

Picked up a new frame cheap that much better than the original. Same year.

Trucking along. Got the wheels on and installed the engine. Still got plenty to do but at least it's a roller now.

Got most of the stuff from dratv.com. Parts are alot cheaper than Ruckus parts. Not crazy about the front end that I got, but it was really cheap and comes with everything. I just used the forks and front wheel.

Road Warrior is semi complete. Everything works and it's drivable now. I put together a basic wire harness for just the stuff I need. Not sure if I want to put the headlight,taillight and directionals on. May do this later. This is kinda like a 75% build, as I wanted to test it out and make sure it's running and working the way I want it, then I'll disassemble for paint and powdercoat a few more pieces.

Sweet. I'm curious to hear how you like that Lifan engine. I'd love to keep my bike all Honda, but the prices on the Chinese motors are very tempting... I was thinking of picking one up so I can ride until I put an 88cc (or maybe bigger) together later

Actually listening to the Mechman. Mounted new 12" wheels. New triple tree and kx65 lowered forks to follow. Need some brakes and shorter lower shocks. Maybe just hard tail the rear. Not sure. Waiting on the triple so I can mount the kx65 forks then add the front brake. Gotta figure out the rear brake and then do something with that shiet exhaust.

On the 12" rear did you need a longer swing arm? I like the wire wheels! If I were you I'd put a headlight on it though.
