Well, per the sellers forum rules I have to have a members ride thread started with pictures of my sled, so here it goes. I would have rather set up my members ride page on my own with 'good' pictures instead of a crappy cell phone pic, but here ya go. Its an 09 that I bought with 1100 miles. It has an alley kat wide rear kit on it, vapor gauges, frame brace, yoshi exhaust, lowered handle bars, side kickstand, billet goodies all around, with lots of plans for it. Who did you buy this Ruck from? Oh and BTW Krylon "banner red" is a pretty close match to stock in case you wanna paint the fender.I got some at walmart and have used it a lot to touch up small spots on red frames.

Thanks for the comments. I almost forgot to update my thread as I was working with GSG as a beta tester with the 6" frame blocks. The front fender, its pretty neat the way it is. Since the red is just a tad off, and its custom airbrushed, it matches in person pretty well. The seat frame WILL get lowered, I just need to find the time to do it. Here it is the other night, after I test fit the blocks on......

Yeah, bad experience tho. I sold it to a guy in RI, turns out FedEx dropped it during transit, and the only thing they could do is refund .50 cents per lb......for a 100 lb moped......comes out to $50. Over $300 damage and all I got was $50.

Shipping LTL is a little different than shipping from a FedEx location. You arrive at a window, with semi drivers all around, trucks getting loaded up, a forklift taking the moped away on a pallet, they said it was insured, and I was good to go. I know next time. But rest assured, it won't be from FedEx. Their customer service is horrible!

The headlight has a wierd shade to it. Cant wait to see pics of it.
What does the doomsday device do?

Pictures don't do the headlight justice. Its more an "ion" color. Yellow/blue depending on the light, and mirrored, and enough color that you can't see the bulb. The flash ate up all the yellow. I'm fabricating up a headlight bracket hopefully today depending on the weather. It looks scratched up in the pic, but thats just dust, its powdercoated black. Ok, but I think I'm going to repaint it red to match the ruck. Baby steps gentlemen. Baby steps.

The doomsday device is basically just for fun, its really only a fancy 4 port usb hub. I'm active duty Marine Corps and I have an all red old phone. Guys joke that its my direct line to the president. So I got this to go next to it. Now all I have to do is make a folder that has "TOP SECRET LAUNCH CODES" on it, and my desk will be complete. Yeah, I'm a dork.

I tried the same light awhile ago. It's a driving/fog light right? After my mock up, I decided not to use it, as the beam cutoff was awful. I didn't feel safe using it for the fact you could hardly see with it and it was only a single bulb.
Hope you have better luck than I did.

Since I split the cost of the "kit" with another TR member it only cost me $18. I don't plan on night riding, I just need to "stay legal" on base. Thanks for the heads up though.
