I don't think it's as much the heat as it is the friction on the belt, especially with a strong contra spring. I drilled evenly spaced holes around the "Honda" on my cover to get some heat out. I figured it can't hurt. when u reach max speed blimp the throttle from 3/4 to full throttle. this keeps the stress off ur belt and engine

Thanks for the prompt reply. I guess I have to get in touch with Chanito and ask for further info. Btw, I'm from Baguio City, Philippines. I'm the only guy having a zoomer in the city. Would be nice to add even just 10kph (6.25mph).
