The problem we have is that sometimes prices change regularly and its really hard for us to find all the threads for all the parts every time something changes, sometimes it's just not feasible to manage that many threads on that many forums with pricing posted throughout them.

But yeah, thanks for the heads up for sure, I edited the posts to make pricing easier to find.

Thinking about making this my first mod (a lil ambitious). Has anyone purchased/installed this? It seems like a good deal for all the stuff you get.

Corsport always has the best prices, so you can't go wrong there. This kit is well tested and well liked. I will be ordering it as soon as I can afford it :/

I did on July 6th, but I don't have the kit yet.

Was told it was on back order and to expect "2-3 weeks or sooner" for it to ship out. 5 weeks later it still hasn't shipped. 2 emails (that noone has responded to) and one phone call resulted in the rep telling me that they're "supplier doesn't have it to ship, so they don't have it to ship........" and said "NCY has had a problem keeping up with demand".......

Yet everyone else is receiving the kits AND even receiving the new adjustable kits.

^who's everyone? These ALL come through the main US NCY distributor, scooterworks -- we've sold plenty and yes they trickle out, are they ever "available" when someone emails us, no it's usually better to give them the realistic goal of a few weeks, as we are never able to keep up with the demand, and numbers sold on a daily basis, instead they slowly ship from scooterworks as fast as they can receive them and get them out the door.

"Everyone" would be a combination of a few members here who ordered else where and the 4 other vendors I called while waiting for my kit to ship from Corsport. (I wont name drop because it wouldn't be right to plug another vendor/seller in your thread)

Without bashing or throwing my opinion in, here are the facts:

Was emailed that it would take "2-3 weeks for shipment"
5 weeks passed so I emailed, no response for 4 days.
Emailed asking for a refund
Return email said the refund would be processed in "2-3 days" on Corsports end.
7 days later I emailed about the refund, because it hadn't hit my account, and THEN it was processed (conformation email).
2 days later it hit my account
Exactly 7 business days later, I had a kit in my possession for $30 cheaper, from a different vendor.


Corsport was very compliant and returned my money without MUCH hassle.

Some times we are at the mercy of our distributers/manufacturers. Especially with popular parts like this, some times they just plain sell out and we have to wait for more to be imported into the US. Some of the other vendors, may have bought several kits and kept them in stock and that could be why they were available from them. We would lose too much money if we shipped everything to us and kept it in stock before shipping it back out. Its makes more sense for us to have the product shipped directly to you so we can keep the cost down.

Understandable. The problem is, if an estimated time of delivery is given and you can't make that deadline, the customer should at least be notified as promptly as possible, especially when the customer is inquiring about the product's status. Stocking a product may cost money, but lack of communication/information will cost you more in the end. I would have never looked around if it wasn't for this.

I am glad you found it in stock somewhere, that's awesome someone had in it stock ... some people/shops/vendors sell "lower" quantities, so that having 3 on their floor for those kinds of sales works for them. For us, when we are selling that many in a 24 hour period online we have a hard time being able to stock anything and it not be gone the second it hits our floor, and that costs money.... we operate more like the we bike website does (large inventory of available items that are almost always ordered on demand as purchased) than a small scooter only vendor with a couple kits in his garage/shop.

I apologize for what may have seemed like a long process for you but we process everything as quickly as we can, emails, returns, everything. We feel we are faster and more responsive than most of this industry, but again, this is not an excuse it's just our reality, I apologize on behalf of my company...
