Sooooooo how did it get here?
A buddy of mine called up a few months ago and said...
Buddy: "Hey I got this Lady in my apartment complex that has some scooter that starts with an R?"
Me: A RUCKUS!
Buddy: Yea that's it, Do you think you can take a look at it.
Me: Sure No problem, I'm kinda busy in the garage.....but I'll take a look at it.
A couple more weeks go by and my buddy calls me.....right in the middle of my Super Sunday Video Production. I had been working non stop on the videos, drinking tons of Rockstars pushing myself to the max. I felt kinda bad for putting it off so long that I had to get to my buddies place just for a few minutes to check out the scoot.
Got to the apartment real late, the lady was gone.....
BUT my buddy had the key to the garage. Opening up the garage what do I see a 2006 Ruckus!
My Favorite Year & Color! I exclaim
Ask my buddy what is wrong with it?
He says "It's has a bad crank?"
BAD CRANK! That's a complete Motor Rebuild! Then he shows me that it is missing the Kickstart
.
I laughed how extreme both problems are:
Crank = $$$$
Kickstart = ¢¢¢¢
Then he tells me that the lady is actually looking for a bigger scoot that she can ride 2-up! WHAT!!!!
She is looking for a bigger scoot!!!!!
My Energy & interest went through the roof. As we loaded the scoot on to my buddy's truck I kept thinking this could be my next scoot!
One rebuilt carb & a battery charge.....I called the lady.
She came over to pick up her scoot & check to out a scoot I had on the market.
One test ride of her Ruckus, then of my bigger scoot....
When she came back she had pulled out the Pink Slip in her back pocket and said....Let's trade!
Volia the 06 Ruckus was mine.
