Just called, and the dude still has it. Not titled, and needs the crank bearing replaced.
Buy a Ruck motor, and all said, you've got a fresh scoot for $500 max.
Will picked this up.
It's MEINNNN. It's rough as hell though. Will is grabbing the front frame and bits to get his rig running again, and I get the rest. Most likely it'll just be parts. Met gears, maybe P&P the head and swap it onto the big bore. But yes, in other news... Will and I went down to hampton roads to pick that metro up and hung out with some of the locals. And then, I rode this. My next scoot WILL be GY6 powered.

Yeah, i've heard a lot of theories. Either way, if I can't fix it, it's going RIGHT back to JC Racing. It's been there since the very first time the engine was started.

Solution to big bore woes; picked this up today with a SECOND Ruckus. Check my other build thread for details! It's a Tank GY6 with REARRRRRR DISCCCC BRAKESSSSS.

Doing big things Ken. Still waiting for steady warm temperatures up here in Harrisonburg to really get back in to modding the ruck but I still get to squeeze in a ride or two a week. Keep me updated on the gy6 build because it is definitely something I'm interested in for the summer
