i took the complete harness out of the battery box and flipped it, so that the wire was running on the tire side of the neck, so i didn't drill any holes. i need a neck plate or whatever it is so that i can cover the wires, as for the back, i neatly ran them up the frame so you can't see them. i'll have to take some pics tomorrow, i didn't want to drill into the frame to do a tuck until after i welded up the new mount and seat frame. but the way it is now it almost looks like the engine doesn't run because i have all of the connections hidden.

Those are 8 gauge starter and ground... let me tell you it wasn't easy tucking those, but all in all it was pretty easy. :highfive:

Where are you guys getting those fittings that screw into the frame? Also those threaded females to weld onto the frame?

Many companies make the fittings. They are AN fittings. Mostly made from aluminum and you would need steel to weld to the frame. Companies who make the fittings are Russel, Earls, XRP, Edelbrock, Aeroquip.

But why that big HUGE metal piece and not another rubber grommet?

Is the hole so big that it sacrifices the frames integrity and this builds it back up???

I'm not sure why they do it like that but if I were to guess it would be to make it look like there are no wires. The AN line and fittings make it look like its for fuel or water.
