There is now a Ruckus chained up on my front porch. Feels good to have him home and not locked up in a stuff shed at my parents house.

Ive been riding around the backroads last couple days. Still got some work to do like adjust float and level carb out some. If i ride for more then about 2 min full throttle i empty my fuel bowl but if adjust the float to allow more fuel it pushes through the idle circuit. So right now i am avoiding hills b/c i only get half way up and run out of fuel.

It's the only place I have to put it. No shed at my house and no garage. Locked it up there last year. There is a guy a few houses down with a Harley on his porch. That is the item that is worth stealing. And he rarely covers it up.

A ruckus is more easier to take then a Harley though, I used to live on a 2nd floor apartment an had my ruck chained down stairs under my back porch deck an was alway afraid of someone stealing it but was lucky u should be ok but like I said keep an eye open

I keep an eye out for it. When we travel it comes in the house. I locked it there all spring/summer/fall last year. If I had a better place to put it, it would be there. I check it every morning when I come down the stairs, and when ever I drive my car anywhere I can see that it is there when I pull up to my house. Best way to make sure it is safe, is the full insurance policy I have on it. It will be a pain in the ass to get another one around here, but I can get another one.

I am actually more afraid of something happening to it at work. I get paranoid a patent will cross the street and fuck with it. Where I park is out of bounds for the patents, but they can still get to it before security gets to them. Never had anything happen to it, but there is always a chance. Good thing is, it is parked way up high on a State Facility, so there is zero chance the public could steal it while I am at work. They are not getting on grounds unless they stop at the front office. And if a patent does mess with it, they would get in a lot of trouble. But the state has a park at your own risk policy with any vehicle.

Oh, and that Harley aint locked, and he leaves the ramp on his steps. That bike could be gone in less than a minute. I hide my ramp, and my porch is kind of high, so it would take more time, and that would wake the dog.

I wish PA was always like this. 70 out now, going to get a little warmer. Still officially winter, and I cut my grass for the first time today. Now I smell like gas, dirt and grass clippings. The perfect summer smell.

Got tags and insurance today on ruck. Sad now i wont really have time to go on a ride until Saturday or Sunday if it happens to be nice either of those days. I also think i figured out my problem with my gy6 missing/cutting out at high rpms. All i did was put on a 6" tube from carb to filter. Took it a couple passes up and down road with no popping. Apparently the was alot of turbulent air going into the carb at high rpms.

I think I have this same problem, but not until after long WOT and going up a hill at the end.

maybe when i get my 110 jet and install it i will take some pictures of how i modded the float needle to fix the issue. Very simple and only tool needed is a pair of pliers.

ok.....lookis like I'll be rolling into Pittsburg area on Monday, June 4th,...gonna meet-up with frick, swap some rollers, and rejet a carb....
