Thanks Adam, that's awesome of you! Unfortunately I have some high dollar valve springs and a bunch of port and polish work into the head so for now the first option is to pull the head or send the motor back to KS Power and have him see what he can do. I think it should be repairable but it still pains me to think about it. On a good note my rims should finally be here later this week as well as my Frando caliper so I can start mocking up a caliper adapter for the rear. Rear Frando GOOOOOOD! :banger: Got some other cool shit up my sleave as well for my build. :highfive:

Hoping. Also, money is damn tight these days and the wife would like me to cut back on scooter expenses until we get some of our other bills under control. So the trip to Super Sunday is on the chopping block and I might just have to settle for getting to finish my ride but not go. Lame, but until I'm bringing home fatter paychecks it's just not looking good to spend $600 on gas plus hotel and food costs. Right now I'm just focused on paying my tab at Rucksters, getting the head fixed and getting the bike back together. I'll take the rest as it goes.

Isn't there a worry of getting metal shavings in the cylinder that way?

yes there is but if you are careful you can minimize the amount that goes in. you can also try to vacuum them out. ive done this on a $75,000 dollar engine, makes you sweat bullets!

Hey guys,
Its been a while since I frequented this site. I used to have a 2007 ruckus with tons of aftermarket parts. I rode with the group aabout 20 times or so somewhere near 2 years ago. Unfortunately I had to sell my old ruckus, but now have purchased another one. I cant make it out tonight to ride with you all but next week I will. Im planning on putting a GY6 in... so if anyone knows where to find the best deal on a whole kit, and knows a little about installing it I can supply a case of beer.
Josh
