Just brought home a 2006 BR - VIN 100212 - Birth Date 08/05. Had to travel 400 miles round trip, paid $2,000 also included was a Nelson Rigg pack for the back when the seats up. has 3,700 miles on it.

Hey everyone. I'm new here and I have #00089- 2005 Parrot Yellow. Currently in two boxes and half dismantled. Was listed in parts on Ebay, but convinced seller to part with the whole bike. Looking forward to some technical advice, once I start re-assembling it.

If its really in pieces, do yourself a favor and get a service manual.
Like Roscoe says, search and read and post some pics, it will make answering questions much easier.
Also, I assume you have a title...only asking since you say the seller was parting it out.

Let's plug the gap between 388 & 432 with my '06 #407.

First saw these things in 2005, but not at that price! In '06, the wife bought a 150 scooter and after a few rides, I was hooked on scooters. Saw a few China scoots that resembled the BR but held out for the real thing. I started a half-assed search for one locally. A few months back, I googled BR one night and found one at a local Honda dealer. Called the wife the next day and told her I'd be late coming home from work. About 3 hours later, she called to see if I was OK and I told her where I was. She asked if I was thinking about buying it and I told her no - I was waiting for the salesman to finish the paperwork. They delivered it that night (for a 12 pack).

When I went back for the tag, I found out they had first posted it online the night I saw it and had had people calling all week offering much more than I had closed the deal for. I guess I got lucky, but they didn't know I was definitely going home with that cherry '06 with only 1700 miles.

I just noticed my serial number was already posted by someone? Or is it just on the list, it doesn't say it's Canadian, it is just in the list. Can anyone remember who registered it? I'd be kinda curious to see if it was the same person I got it off. 00089
