ok so JC rebuilt TC old big bore motor for me and I can only seem to get it to run
after i jump the crap out of it and get it warm .And if im not near a pair of cables im stuck ....
is this normal? everything is new except for the carb. ...also when i do get it jumped it will race and the only thing that will slow the motor is the air/mix screw on the pc20. how can i get this thing to run on the first try..

No, problems don't seem to be a new thing with the GET big bore IMO.

haha yeah but its all back together and powder coated looks good parked :)
adjusted the needle to the richest postion last night and seemed to respond to that a bit.
ive read so many problems with the pc20 carb!! anyone with pe20 on a get bigbore?? Noticed as soon as i got it halfway running right ,id hit the thottle and it would go racing woundering if thats a sign of a air leak.
anyways picked up a jump box today hope that helps for now ...

I got a PC20 and a bigbore. No, I did not have the same problems you are describing. I think you're on the right track with tuning the air/fuel mix.
