Nice to see another budget build, what color are you going with or is that undecided.

I'm actually doing a deep purple called "Velvet Purple Pearl" from the Audi R8…its similar to the "Midnight Purple Pearl" from a NSX but a little brighter…and close to the BMW M3 "Techno Violet" with a tint of red here and there from the shocks, master cylinder, rotors, and calipers...

have you ever seen semi hydraulic disc brakes. they are usually for vintange scooter conversions so the master cylinder wont fit on the headset/hamdlebars. they have a master cyclinder bolted near the caliper and a cable from the master cylinder to your handlebar. alwys though they were kinda neat might be an option for you.

thanks for the input…the killer scooter foot brake conversion is pretty much a peg style setup with forward pedals and has a mounting plate with mounting holes for the CRF450 master cylinder…I've heard about the semi hydraulic disc brakes but i haven't sent it done yet so I'm too chicken shit to try it hahaha

Haven't update in here in a while…been waiting for the custom frame to be finish, ordered a couple of more parts, and just WAITING! But here are some pics of progress…

Just received Hoodrich Designs Fuel Tank Cover with Stage6/KOSO Fuel Gauge cutout…OEM FITMENT
Image

OEM Rear Frame ready for some custom fabrication
Image

Brackets and hangers are finally shaved off
Image

Shaved Rear Frame ready to be sent to fabrication
Image

After fabrication…shorten rear section and welded on the rPRO 'Sharp Tail', welded on Solid Cross Bar…some minor shaving left to do for the original shock mounting points, align and weld on the MOJO GY6 mounts and center shock mounts, weld on the 'suicide' seat frame, weld on the HRH gussets, weld on AN fittings for wire tuck, and weld on a mounting plate for the rPRO taillights…a lot left to do on this frame
Image

I also contacted DROWsports for a BNIB GY6 with Mil-Spec GY6 harness with a couple of other few things here and there but just waiting for the mounting panel for the mil-spec harness to come back from fabrication before they can ship it out(3 weeks?)….THANKS Jay@DROWsports!!!

everything looks good. i like that harness yur getting.
btw did u add gussets? because i see here u shaved it off. it was made to help reinforce the frame. i see couple cases that frame broke that joining point of the frame. other than that i cant wait to see this build done :highfive:
