So, my dear Homer has been dead for a couple of days now. Mosttly becuase I have been driving round without and air filter for the past 3 months.
However. I ordered replacement bits and pieces and here they are:

32mm Stage6 Full race spec carb with power jet.

180cc GY6 Big bore Kit.

And still waiting for the Koso Variator to arrive

Good news is that it started today with the new carb and the Big Bore kit. But the battery has died on me and is now on charge.
So, all-and-all its been a good day.

Hi fellow Zoomer owner :)

I was really wondering what did you use to smoke your blinkers? motip or something similar?

And does it affect the orange color of the blinkers? or did you have to swap the clear lightbulbs with orange ones?

Happy to hear how you did it,
Eriko

Hey guys, I want to do the fatty swap on my bike, with a super wide 225/40/10.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a mudguard that would work well as a hugger.
So after watching some how-to vids on Youtube, I thought I'd set out in trying to make my own one
out of Fibreglass.
So here is a step by step on how I went about it.

Firstly I needed a mould ofc. So I got this idea off Youtube and bought a 10 x 600 x 400mm piece of polystyrene of eBay.
Image

Cut it into manageble pieces.
Image

Sellotaped them to the tire just to hold them in place.
Image
Image

Then I used some duct-tape just give it a bit of a smoother finish.
Image

Sorry I missed one of the steppes here, but did something simmilar as with the styrene srtips, but I done four layers in a criss-cross fasion. This gives it strength
Image

All four layers on and all dry.
Image

Roughly shaped and ready for spot repairs.
Image

Spot repairs done and ready for primer coat.
Image

First primer coat on. Now it needs drying and then to smooth it out with 2000 grit wet sanding paper.

Dude, that's a sweet fender build! :banger:
Haven't tried fibreglass work yet, but inspires me to try out a fender for myself!

How's the build? Saw the box photos. Have you painted the frame?
