Okay, so. This is my brand new 2017 NPS50.

Image

It's got the basics on it and has ~30mi at the moment. Polini variator, pillow top grips, BMX foot pegs, and I removed the front reflectors cos they're ugly. Mirrors too.

It's probably done from a mechanical standpoint, as the aftermarket exhaust options make it sound like crap, imo. If things break in the future, suspension wise then I might upgrade them, but we'll see.

Personalization will come in the form of painting the battery box, and potentially the front and rear fenders in Geo Tropical Green. Seat is gonna be re-covered in vinyl close to that too. I've got decals made up for the sides to replace the stock Ruckus ones that will further the look. There's a potential down the line to get a second set of wheels and have them color matched to the box, with a set of street tires on them. R6 taillight will come in the future, to get rid of that ugly stock unit and plate holder. I wanna relocate the front indicators down to where the reflectors were as well. Lowered seat frame and a set of dirt bike handles are also a potential thing in the future.

Check out my build "Black Letty" in my signature for ideas on turn signals and tail light.

Or don't.

Have fun with your Ruck.

Before it really goes under the knife(I'm targeting this winter to pull it apart and have everything done), I'm gonna make some plexi panels for the open space in the seatframe. They're gonna be black to match the frame, with these decals that I'm having made, based on one of the graphics packages on the old Honda VTR250.

Also, I've put 60 miles on it in total - and the rear wheel is already bent. Joys of being fat.

Tick over 300 miles on it - when should the first oil service be done?
