Thanks guys!! Its starting to come together now. Finished lengthening the harness so I could mount up all the electric stuff.
Some stuff left to do though.

- Finishing the rear fender/bracket for it.
- Mounting up the front when I get my wheel back from the tire guy. I had to flip it around because the filler valve would hit the caliper.
- Paint the back of the battery box
- Paint the rear fender
- Mount and bleed brakes. That´s going to be fun for a first timer...
- Mount the floorboard when I get bolts

Made a template to cut my floorboard after.

Cutting out the hole for the cap on the tank

It came out nice. Put some rubber trim around the edges to set it off. Its 5mm 5 bars alu plate.

Wired up my shiny new Koso speedo!
Image

Got my taillight to function correctly after several hours of trial and error. Now I have brake light on both levers so thats nice!
Image

Wired up a plate light also
Image

Did a super quick buff on the controls. Going to get new buttons since they are worn.
Could have done it better but I want to finish things now and get on with it.

Got my sticker on the headlight
Image

Some pics of the rear fender. It´s a CBR600RR that I have modded a little bit. I have cut the sides and heated the sides up and bent them down to fit the 8" wheel. I made a bracket that attaches to the top mount of the exhaust.
Image
Image
Image

I stiffened it up a bit with 2mm carbon plate since it only attaches at the back. I may make a mount on the side that attaches to the lower rear dampener mount.
Image
Image

Got some split braided sleeves to put over the harness where it shows.
Image

Cables
Image

Mounted up my custom floorboard with some flushmount bolts. Added a strip of rubber trim on the sides.
Image
Image

Got matching bolts for the frames. The old ones looked like shit
Image

and the rear damper bolt
Image

Will have a cover printed for the gas tank cap to stop some water getting in and under the floorboard on top of the tank.
Image

Finally got my wheel to get it flipped so it should arrive soon so I can start with bleeding the brakes.

Ørjan.

Finally had the time to do a respray on the back of the battery box and the seat frame.
Image

Image

Came out decent. I will probably do a polish when the bike is finished.
Image

From the back
Image

Mounted up the refurbished stock shortened blinkers. I made a bracket for them so they mount on the same bolt as the frame around the headlights. I know its not to everyones taste, but I think its the signature of the zoomer. If I get bored with them I can always remove them.
Image

Also got this custom 32" brake line from Raymond at Apex brakes. Top quality. Swivel ends for as much adjustment as possible.
Image

I also finished the rear fender. It looks a bit weird in the photos but I promise it don´t stick out as much as the pic shows.
Image
Image

Any tips for bleeding the brakes is appreciated!

Ørjan.

For bleeding brakes... Does your school have a hand held or shop-air powered vacuum tool?

If so....get a small piece of vacuum line, open the bleeder on the caliper and put the line on the nipple- the other end in a bottle of brake fluid- the end as deep as it will go so you don't accidentally get air in and have to start over.

Now open the bleeder screw on the master cylinder. Hook the vacuum tool to the nipple. Hold lever halfway in.... Start sucking. Keep an eye on the fluid level in the bottle...

Once you see just fluid and no air is coming out, close the caliper bleeder first, then the master.

Squeeze lever about 10 times fully, and you should have good brake feel on the lever.

Good luck!

I don´t think they have that.. Thanks for the tip though. I got another tip to fill from the bottom with a syringe. So maybe I will try that.

That also will work. Just remember to hold the lever halfway closed while doing so.

Wat r u using to space the cover from tank ?
A nut under the cover on the long Allen bolt to keep it seperated?

In the back I use a 70mm long bolt, and in the front a 35mm long bolt. Its held in place with a half nut like you see in the pic.
