Ran into an issue of the lowdown NCY shock not aligning with the rear mount point due to the angle. Had to shave the inside of the shock to fix the issue. After a few adjustment to the height of the shock this was the result bottom is how I started off, top pic now with minimal head sag. Stoked how it came out. More than likely I'll have to cut into the bin to fit the carb.

Thanks bro.

Almost done wiring. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I should be able to fire it up. Got assistance from a few homies to help, but not a lot of references for Met swap :headbashing:

Been pretty busy lately. The rebuild has been going slow and steady. :headbashing:

Here's a bit of an update though.

The biggest hurdle was to get the OEM harness to work with the Gy6. As you can see it's been kinda crazy looking. After few weeks of communication with my homie from SD, walking me thru the process we got the OEM ECU and fuel pump officially hooked up.

Decided to ditch the unbranded clubman bars and pick up some JDM hurricane bars instead.

To ensure the tune will always be on point. I invested in a Innovate BLUE LED A/F gauge. I couldn't figure a proper placement on the front fairing that would be visible at all times. So I ended picking a Rucksters kickbar to mount it on. Really digging how it's gonna look. :banger:

Originally I was going to use this Tri-fold muffler from Steady.

Image

However my boy from Riderz Blox SD was able to source me a Hotlap 666 for slamming deal. The setup is from a GET motor. However the inlet of the 666 is actually larger then my growler header from Steady. The photo is from the gent who sold me the setup.

I decided to ditch my brand new Ban jing clutch bell...

and decided to spend a few extra bucks to upgrade to a Pulley clutch bell instead.

All this waiting around I figured to change a few aesthetic things as well. Replaced my red pegs and got some black ones. Also replaced my PWJDM red axle pullers and got some Ruckster Blk axle pullers instead.

I wish they made so many cool clutch bells for the GET, you need to change the motor in your profile! :banger:

So stoked for the new bar setup. Nervous initially, since these Hurricane bars were meant for a Honda Monkey. The fitment turned out perfect. :banger:
