So my kit came with the cylnder head temp sensor but it doesn't work, theres no record of any temp on it other than the ambient temp. Has anyone used the inline water temp sensor? Any issues with it? is it difficult to install?

Great news!!! Pegs on the Ruckus makes it easier to ride with heels lol.
No updates yet waiting on my orders to come in, although the above it true.

...If a girl drove by me on a ruckus in heels... well... that girl would know my name by the next red light.

I've only seen 2 girls ever on ruckuses and one I dated for a while hahaha not just because the ruckus but that played a major piece in it.

kudos to you. and in terms of the headlights, there is a really really simple mod (if you or someone you know can weld) that takes the top hole of the headlight mount and positions it above the bar instead of below...
If you can't find it, I can try to figure out whre I found it... You cut the tab, re weld it on top, cut the bar with the two holes, align those, tack em on, weld, clean, paint, finito.

or you could dish out something stupid like 60 bucks to buy one of those brackets.

No, the new daddy doesn't want my troubled baby mingling with theirs...

...but I'm still on the hunt for the girl I saw the other day. Chatted up a vespa this morning, but... :meh:

So I did some additions I've been a bit quiet with updates mostly cause I haven't done any updates. I did get a water temp sensor for my vapor gauge its been as hot 174 degs. So its working nicely. I did get an exhaust header thanks to darthemma next to get a stubby Yoshi exhaust.

Cool! I've been considering upgrading to the vepor too. How much did that coupler/sensor housing run you?

The coupler/sensor works great, I think it was about $70. I was always concerned about the temp during the summer when I'd be riding around,.

So I have been checking out a bunch of builds trying to get inspired of what to do to my scoot. I want to lower and extend it now a question on that how wide of a rear tire can you use on a get? And what do you use for rear brakes? Do the hubs have a drum setup?

If you wanna do fatty they sell kits with everything you need

But to answer your questions

1. most people run either a 130/70-12 or 140/70-12

2. For rear braking, you can do either drum or disk

3. Yes there are a couple of drum hubs that are readily available. Kymco and this cool guy http://flpparts.com/contact-us

I'd ask myself how much I want to spend before proceeding. What's your budget?

I personally prefer the mini fatty, for a few reasons... I run a 12x5 rim, with a 130/70/12 tire. A Michelin Bopper.

I run a Mojo Stretch (Skinny) and I would recommend it or the composimo I would have loved to get also.

Your brake hub is actually connected to the swing arm, unlike the front wheel where if you swap wheels, you have to do something about the brakes. You can certainly go disk, but it's not mandatory like when you get custom rims cut for the front.

I kept drum rear, disk front. 12" on both front and rear. I like the look of 12 on the rear, 10 on the front, however. And ConElite swears by it so it must be good :meh:

I got a bit bored rainy day, watching Dr Who, so I decided to paint my pegs with something more durable. I used rustoleum truck bed liner, I used it on my Suzuki Samurai inside on the floors and held up great didn't flake off or wear off so I'll see how it goes with it on my pegs. Hope to have more updates soon.
