Picked up a third Honda yesterday. It will get a 2 stroke motor from a zuma. I have another 2t that's already built, but it's a chinese case and I wanna keep the qulity up for this build. to start out with I'll use a Composimo bolt on mount that I have had sitting for over a year. But down the road, I'll get a custom fatty on it, with a BR lego mount I've been hoarding. So to start here's a couple of pics of Third-Time-2t-Charm.
It came with a couple of aftermarkets that will likely be for sale soon.

Came with a jc carb, which will go on Metrocity.

And a kickstand for sale.

Parts started rolling in!
Used stage 6 pro rep exhaust from zumaforums classifieds.
malossi cast iron 70cc with pot chamferring done by SPmotostore. Thanks Casey! :canuck:
The bike came with no mirrors, so I picked up a stage 6 F1
Malossi full overange kit! bye bye Electric start!
High flow fan.
And a never ran top performance full circle crank to increase primary compression. A 2stroke guru local to me has this item, and we worked out a trade for it :highfive:
If anybody reads the other forums 2stroked from 49ccscoot.com is helping me out on this. He's a really cool dude, and just lives across town. I think Fatbagz and some others might know him from the event "Twist and Gone".

just a couple things left to get until this project takes off!

Which mount? The comosimo skinny, or the LEGO? I'm going to use the composimo bolt-on just so i can get this bike on the road ASAP. Then i'll get the parts together to throw a fatty at it, or maybe mini fatty so i don't have to have a pipe welded, but when i do that, I'll have the LEGO welded together, and i'll probably sell the bolt on mount.

well, I finally got a little bit done on this. got the Zuma stripped, so I have a perfect 2009 Zuma frame with title for sale, shaved tabs on rear frame, mocked up seat frame and motor mount and shave the CF luggage cover to fit the insanely low steady garage seat frame, and chopped the steering stems out of the ruck and Zuma to swap the front forks. I'll let the pics do the talking.

and last I also installed led headlights, I plan to run a small capacitor in place of the battery since this bike won't have electric start anyway. so trying to decrease draw as much as possible.

if you're planning on doing the zuma front end swap... you'll be changing down the road. The forks are hard to come by. You're better off using the ruck forks and building a disk brake setup. Been there done that. :highfive:

so far, I've done a straight bolt on with my first ruck, then on the metropolitan I did a custom setup with the stock forks, so I wanted to try this also. have the forks just need to weld the ruck steering tube into the Zuma clamp.

Good call on the cast iron cylinder kit but I'm curious if that stage6 rep exhaust will mate well to it? What's the power band of that pipe and what kind of rpms does the malossi kit produce?

If I recall a friend of mine had a rep pipe and it held it back. The turning radius on the zuma forks is awful haha.

From what i've read, this pipe is gonna be a shit-show to tune. I read that it's sweet spot is in the 7500-9000 rpm range, and the kit is supposed to be good for 10.5k so, I'll have to report more on this after it's on the road. I may end up with another leo zx. That is yhe combo, i run on my benelli, and it is easy-peasy for tuning. I'm hoping to have slightly better luck with this setup, because of the dello carb. On my benelli, i'm using the stock carb, and it has given me some small headaches.

If i bring the steering tube down then i wont be able to thread the top race back on. I talked to enviromoto about this a little, because he's done one of these and he said something about spacers, too. I thought it was a pretty straight forward: cut both steering stems out of the triples and wel the ruck tube into the zuma TT?
