The megamind inspired metropolitan named "metrocity" has begun. Kind of. I bought the bike and have started procuring parts.
now TR I need your help.
are we doing a fatty metro, just a stretched met, metruckus, or going for the gold with a metruckazumas?
I've never seen a metruckus with a Yamaha 2t so that gets my vote.
anyway here's my canvas. 2004 met for $300.

Either a fatty met or metzuma. Metrucks are nice but easy compared to anything with the met rear frame. Nice find Im subd.

If you do decide to make a fatty you should patent the mount and sell me one haha

if I make it fatty, I'll likely use one of the two Lego mounts I've been sitting on. :highfive:

well I decided to go with an air ride met. to start with anyway. i had this set of work wheels laying around for a while and wanted to see them get used so that's what she'll wear to start out with. this is the progress so far. password stretch w/ mike155cc kit, composimo eye 2 eye and cvt cover, lowered front forks which will have disc conversion, and the same air setup everyone is going with. keep in mind, everything is only mocked up and I also don't have all the parts for the air shock yet.

thanks man. it is going to hit, so I'll need to reangle the engine. I got all the parts for the airride. I decided to run a small tank to help air up quicker. I'm also using a pressure switch to run the compressor. it's set to turn the compressor on at 100 psi and off at 150, hopefully that's plenty of pressure, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm also going to use a digital meter to monitor the pressure in the system. the meter has two readouts on it. one will be for pressure in the tank, o make sure I'm not exceding my high and low limits, and the other will be for the shock itself, so I know where my comfy ride is.

here's a picture of what will be going under the seat.

couple other pieces.

work wheels. the back has an unknown hub on it and the front has an integrated hub and disk. it's kind of weird. never seen another one like it. I ordered a Texas Hooker to weld onto the lowered stock shock up front, and I'm gonna try to make a custom caliper adapter to run a z125 caliper on it. I held it all up there tonight and it looked doable.
