How did you mount the tail lights to the seat? Also, how did you mount the seat to the seat frame? I'm putting together a ruck now and looking for ideas. Thanks.

The taillight is mounted using a Drowsports R6 bracket. ImageImage
I cut the top tab off the R6 taillight so that I could mount it higher because my seat is low. You can see the stack of washers I used to move it up.

The seat frame is made by Jst4shw and it flips forward. The seat sits on top of the seat frame without a latch and stays put.

That's how that bracket works! I need some screws then, easy.

As for the mount, that is a pretty slick set up. I will have to come up with something similar for my seat frame.

Thanks a lot. Pictures really help compared to conclusions.

No problem man, I completely agree. Sometimes I can't explain with ten sentences what one picture does alone.

I guess I came in and started asking stuff... :meh: woops!

Nice scoot. Definitely has a couple things I am trying to incorporate into my build, so I like it. :banger: That under seat storage container is definitely cool. I wish I could do something similar, but my carb/filter set up sucks up all the space.

What is next on your agenda?

I recently found a donor bong and I'm going to use the bowl to thread into my handlebar so I always have a way to toke.

Well I finally came around to fixing my front turn signals. I previously tried some cheapo eBay "Led Eagle Eye" day running lights as blinkers. They worked great for a few weeks and then one of four blew out and then two of the four blew out. Good thing they were $9 shipped for a pair of four. So I was sitting on them for a while because I was lazy to install them. During that time, when I was at idle at a stoplight my blinkers wouldn't flash, they would just stay lit. I hated it because it looked shitty but it rode and I couldn't put the bike down long enough to work on the repair. So I finally replaced the two that blew out and I don't know wtf I was waiting for. I forgot how awesome my set up is! These lights are so bright. I have a pair pointed foward so oncoming traffic know I'm turning, and I have a pair on the side and those point slightly down so they actually light up the floor when flashing. I wish I knew how to post a video. I think this is a super safe set up and they look really clean. Let me mention that the suspected reason why the two light burned out was installed error. I may have done a bad job stripping the wires and crossed them which lead to them burning out.

Okay that's about it. My build is so boring. Lol. No wonder no one hardly ever leaves comments.

Thaaaaanks dood! I appreciate it. I've always wanted nice rims and sick bars but that stuff costs a ton. So I'm happy when I get compliments on working with what I got.
