so this thing hasnt been updated since fucking ever. if you actively want to follow this i would suggest going to instagram and following me there, but ill post some updates here for everyone. my insta handle is @ryanjblajda. who would have thunk it.

video of my new exhaust - https://www.instagram.com/p/BIh0iEYjHfd/

fuel pump came in a day early. woot.
Image

stuff to drop off at powdercoat. my mount started to get some surface rust after welding. i will be keeping the kickstart and stock CVT cover because i am a worry wart and i dont want my case snapping, and i want to be able to kickstart it if i need to.
Image

a back angle of my awesome fireball steadygarage exhaust.
Image

a friend of mine donated his wheels from his donor because the rear wheel on mine was super fucked. if anyone wants a brand new 13" scooter tire with a cut in the sidewall for $15 let me know. i have no use for it now.

i actually love the 5 spoke front wheel more than the ones i had originally.
Image

bought a trailtech vector (not a vapor like i was told unfortunately so i have to run a tto tach), bars, stem, tto tach, and some adelin knockoff controls for $60 from a friend of a friend.
Image

here are a few views of my custom engine mount i designed based off the buggy depot gy6 mount. i used hardware from McMaster Carr to build engine hangers. i love rod ends/heim joints. they make me happy. they are rated to 6,323lbs static load per joint and there are 2 per side, so this mount isnt going anywhere.

Image

getting my shock to sit square was a fucking pain. i had to modify the shock and modify my CVT case by grinding it down near the mounting point. being anal is a nightmare.

i have heard and seen shit on FB about cases snapping and such so i want everything to be as square and as braced as possible. ill need to add a bolt through the rear frame on my shock extension, but that will probably happen once my mount gets back from powdercoat so i can just bolt everything up at once.

Engine Mount Bolts
Nordlocks for Engine Mount
Engine Hanger Bolts
Vector Magnet Bolt
Carbon Fan Scoop

Adjust Valves

thats what i have left on my list of things to buy/be done.

Nice progress! :highfive: How's the angle of your motor? One of things I've notice on other Met Gy that the swingarm angles downward making it look like the motor is sagging.

Looks good bro! Wish i had kept my Metro. There was a guy in O-town selling his GY6 assembly for $80 but i missed it. Couldn't get around to driving up there this week and he was moving is why he wanted nothing for it. So when does this Cocoa ride go down?

Your rendering makes a aftermarket fender look really good with a Met. Maybe something to consider myself. Like how it make the front end a little more agressive looking. Cant wait to see it bro:banger:

video of the engine running post valve adjustment / pre engine and gear oil change. this bike had like no oil in it previously and what was in it was black AF. gear oil looked fine, but i replaced that just to be safe.

i used 10w-40 and 80w-90 respectively.

my exhuast sits too close to the shroud and is melting it...gotta buy a new one i guess. this shroud isnt the most common gy6 shroud.
