Hi! I'm fairly noob to the ruckus community. I got my 2008 Ruckus from Mr. Chaps in July after months of riding on the back of ThumbsForward's Z155.

The only pic I have when I got it from Chaps
Image

And then, I had to learn how to ride. (Because I was an ill-fated kid who never learned how to ride a bicycle growing up!)
Image

Then like everybody, plastics off. lowered seat frame. lowered handlebars. new mirror. pegs.
Image

Shaved tail lights. R6 integrated lights.
Image

Buzzetti kickstand (which i have a love and hate relationship with). NCY extension. LED blinkers. new helmet.
Image

Got some Kijima Wave headlights. Purple grips. Gojin Washer Kit.
Image

And then some DOT Industries goodness. Gas Cap Cover, Frame Caps and Custom Blinker Washers (or whatever you call em).
Image

Stayed GET for a while (if you call 4 months a while then yeah). Got NCY CDI. Polini Variator with Dr Pulley weights. Polini Exhaust. Topped at 53.5mph (Iphone GPS Speedo). I was pretty happy and contented with my GET setup...

And then a KillerMonga to Morongo ride happened and i was the only one mobbing a 50 (freeway and all). Playing catch up got tiring and it was then that I decided it was time to go to the darkside.

Thumbsforward GETting ready for the break down.
Image

Started with a Killer Mount and Killer 11 Pole Harness (harness not pictured obvs)
Image

then some GY goodies from Standard Functions
Image

And purple rear shock from Poon (thinking of changing it though. 260mm is a little too long for the setup that i'm running but it's pretty though)
Image

Then I wanted my ruck to GET a little beefier
Image

Time for the rebuild (the rare moment when ThumbsForward was actually happy working on my ruck. =p) Front setup as follows: ATR Front Forks. NCY wheel. NCY rotor and custom adapter. Brembo P30.
Image

We got a roller with cotton slim seat!
Image

And Voilà! It's finally alive!
Image

Still waiting on some parts but we finally got it running. So, for now, We ride... hard (after we break in the engine, that is)! :banger:
