Well, I found a deal that I could not pass up. I found a 93 Elite SR for $250 with only 1600 miles. Has a few scratches and a broken turn signal but no biggie.

Not looking for speed records, just a nice around town scoot. I am excited about the whole 2T adventure and hope I wont go crazy with it.

Started taking everything apart to do some bodywork. Ordered new tires, carb, filter, and JDM tailight. Thinking of going with a 99 Civic SI Blue with bronze rims...... but that can always change.

I tried to put the stock ruckus variator on and it rubs the side right next to the starter gear. Is that normal? Can I shave it down to fit?

yes you have to shave it down and then it will fit just right.

i used my dremel and the aluminum shaving bit i got from lowes. didnt take to long. and it makes the scoot so much more fun and faster!
