This is a Before picture or when I first purchased my 2005
in May of 2011. I believe it will remain stock. Started off with new tires, new speedo, complete
Fluids change, new belt and new stock rollers and sliders, belt, new battery, new headlight bulb, new air filter, two new mirrors. All were original Honda parts.
Purchased HYS under seat glove box from Motion Moped great add on.
Original mileage as purchased 5300
I replaced the turn Signial switch assembly as old one was not working properly.
I purchased new ignition switch with gas cap and helmet lock have not installed yet
Then it was just pure riding fun.
I call it Belongatome

cool man, is this your first motorized bike :?: I still like the stock look, but must admit some of the custom rucks are works of art.

This is after my first Mod a 2008 ECU .
It really has made a nice improvement in performance compared to the stock ECU.

Ok so your an experianced rider then. I have ridden pedel bikes for 2 years now as a daily driver and am ready to step it up to a ruckus. I'm totaly comfortable with cars and trucks and have a good feel for 2 wheels but honestly how safe are these things compared to regular pedel bikes?

Well there are as safe as you make them use a good helmet, eye ware and you
Are bound by traffic rules and regulations as it is a Motor Scooter.
Here we need tags and insurance but chit does happen it always the other
Guy. So obey traffic laws be aware of other vehicles don't use earbuds or listen
To iTunes while driving and walking for that matter.
As far as riding same or similar to a bike you need to balance yourself.
Very easy to master.
Plus they are tons of fun

 Yea bro I hear you on that I have hade a few close ones on my bike. As a matter of fake almost whent over my handle bars the othher day, I grabed the front brake to hard I let my mind wander for a split second. All in all though I think I will be fine. How do other drivers react to you are they dicks or do they respect you on the road? Reason I ask is I wonder if the ruckus is big enough for daily driving around town by big I mean both size and power. Thanks for asnwering my question btw.

Some drivers respect you some don't .
It's another world out there everyone is in too much of a hurry
No one shows any respect anymore they don't stop behind crosswalks
Nada all horn blowers in too much or a rush oh well don't let all that deter
You. I suggest if you can take a trial ride see if it fits your needs do so.
I shouldn't rant

So in other words its just like ridding a pedel bike but with more speed. Sounds fine to me. I hope to get one in a few monthes. I trust myself I just don't trust other drivers so thats why I was a little hesitant but you just motivated me a little.

Almost have all the parts to install a PVC valve
In my 05 motor. Only thing I need is a plug with two wires
To hook up electrics. That will be my next upgrade.

Well instead of putting on a PVC valve on my 05 motor
I found and purchased a 2009 GET motor. It's in great
Shape with aprox 1000 miles on it.
I am in the process of cleaning it up.
Ordering new variator and belt.
Then just a swap out to instal.

What is the advantage of the PCV? I too ride an 05 and was confused the first time I saw it mentioned. :dubious:
