A guy in Utah was driving one day and saw a scooter ride by in the opposite direction. He had no clue what it was but he remembered what it looked like. So he goes home and begins to do what every warm blooded American would do...he GOOGLE'd it. He found images of the HONDA RUCKUS and some how came across a picture of the "BRONZE BOMBER". He stumbled upon my site and searched through our gallery pictures. Amazed at what could be done, he gave me a call. What he wanted was a custom build.
This project really just got started about 3 weeks ago. My time frame is to bring this up to SEATTLE CON 2009 for its debut. I don't think it will be 100% done by then but it will make its way to Seattle. Alot of custom work has already gone into this build but it is far from over. Watch this thread for daily updates and join in to see the journey of this RUCKSTERS CUSTOM CREATION.
Pics and updates to come as this build goes along.

07/28/09:For this particular build I did not want to use any decals. I don't feel the need to be a sticker whore and tag up the bike with rucksters. So instead I decided to cut out custom Rucksters official logo's into the tranny cover and custom front main frame plate. 100% hand cut design. Big props to BTX for his help with the frame and to Ruckus for the idea of the plate.
Relocated Fuel Pump & Fuel Filter:This relocation serves a purpose and you will see why it is mounted the way it is later on in the build. Parts of the frame was grinded off slightly to fit the fuel pump and some new holes were drilled in to mount the bracket.

Update: 07/30/09Got alot done late last night and today so far. Got the BTX Oil Catch Can and custom made mounts attached to the seat frame to go with the floating seat effect. Black Nylon Braided Hoses with AM fittings. This is one sick piece and is a perfect compliment to the other parts I will be using.
Installed the NEWEST Gallery Fresh Creation x BTX accessory " Aluminum Anodized Key Cover " Absolute a sick upgrade. Laser etched.
Got the tires wrapped today. Front will be rocking a TT92 and the rear with a 225x70x10 fatty beast. Rays Lug Nuts that cost an arm and a leg. Cut hole for chin bone. Should be getting my seat today and move on to light mod and the plan is to lay down paint tonight. It's crunch time and I am riding on thin ice as far as being on schedule.

Update: 08/01/09
I wasn't happy with the flatness of the clear so I re-shot it with another coat to flatten it out more. End result was a great flat texture.

Mocking up the ruck for wiring and got the frame bolted. Ditched the crappy Advance Pro Shock for a Silver RRGS 250mm Shock. Installed Tail Light to Bride Seat and starting wiring.

Update: 08/02/02
Got a little time in today and got the rear lights all mounted up. Had to do alot of chopping to get it to fit. Also got surprise mod all on. rPRO MONSTER BARS installed all raw with black bars. Billet dual disc brake levers and stage 6 control sets all in place. Next thing to knock off tomorrow is to finish the wiring.

Calling it a day after a long 20 hours. Got so much done today with non stop work. rPRO MONSTER DRAG BARS v.2 arrived and went straight onto the build. New clamps are much beefier looking and the shorter bars gives it a nice tuck. I opted to go all raw for that machine look and finish. Finished up my wiring including wiring up a bunch of goodies. BTX came through with his BTX header pipe modded to Yoshimura Cyclone Exhaust and hanger. Dr. Pulley Hit Clutch and Variator along with 10 gram weights were added as well as 32mm top slide carb. Billet grips, PIAA 3000 installed. After looking at the rotor with p30 caliper, I choose to go with the black P32 brembo instead. Rear Disc Brakes installed. Also thanks to ATR for coming through with some missing parts. I would have been stuck with no ruck to ride in Seattle had it not been for them. Big ups!!!
Tommorrows Agenda:
Fluids and fire up this bad boy
Bleed brakes
Custom mount for GPS
Fuel Level Gauge
Tune
+ SOME OTHER THINGS I AM TOO TIRED TO REMEMBER.
All this with a short day as we head for SEATTLE CON late afternoon. Enjoy!!!

We made it to Seattle in 18 hours. Meet up with Turtlespeedruckus for room keys and then off to trialsrider to park and get last minute work in. Bad rectifier caused some delays but we got the bike up and running for todays ride. Seattle is sooooo nice.
Here are some pics:

UPDATE: 09/05/09
Crate has been built and getting ready to ship this build off to UTAH. Had to do some finishing touches and 180cc Big Bore Kit after Seattle. All the downtime during our move really delayed this project from being completed sooner.
We will do a little photoshoot before this leaves on Tuesday with some further details of the build.

FINAL UPDATE:
Finally got everything buttoned up and the Big Bore Installed and tuned. Put on some final touches and crated the Bike up last night to get shipped today.
UTAH HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!!!
On it's way to its OWNER. Fun and interesting build overall. Owner was the coolest cat I ever had the chance to deal with. I hope he likes his build.
Not sure if he wants to do his own detailed members ride so I won't add anything else to this build except this:
rSPEC WIRE TUCK:Did a complete wire tuck and throttle cable tuck on this. The fuel pump was relocated so that the lines would sit along the frame, giving it a more clean tucked look. Everything in the front part of the rear frame is cleaned up and open.

Cleaned up the wires by tucking everything in a nylon mesh hose and running it straight into and through the frame.
