My plan is to use performance drive face parts from a GY6 150cc on my nh125, apparently it's been done on elite ch125 and ch150. From the measurements I took compared to dimensions listed online I found the GY6 variator and clutch bell size is close in size, but the splines are different on both the crank/trans drive shafts.

New tires arrived on my doorstep, 90/90 for the front metro rim and 10-3.5 for the nh125 rear rim.

Here's my homemade air filler rig to pop the tire bead on the rim. Just a chromy valve stem cap I tapped a fitting into with a switch, that way I can fill without a valve stem core. I had this spare nh125 rim that I hammered out a dent on the lip, sandblasted and primed.

Got a set of aftermarket shocks, needed to bump the rear up a little for clearance and they should improve my ride quality.

Installed the new shocks, had to space out the top mount otherwise the spring would have touched the tire.

My speedo topped out somewhere between 40-45 mph but I knew I was going faster. Figured out it has a stop on the speedo needle, so cut that off.

Plenty of work left to do, I have a couple things planned. I need to do more test runs before I put the body plastics on. But the plastics also need some repair, lots of cracks.

I want to go, I still have a couple weekends to make sure my scooter is road ready. But the weather might be a deciding factor, I'm not running an air box so if it's rainy my filter would get wet.
