I can finally start putting this thing together.

Started with mounting the stretch kit. Bought it used from BJørn (Sylthod)
Image

Got the frames back from powdercoating. Black on black. Matches well with the dorf and the seat cover.
Image

Installed this radiatorcover from MM. I´m probably going to put som mesh sheet behind since the radiator isn´t very nice to look at.
Image

Mocked up the wheels.

Then I started looking at where all the electronics go. Got this bottom mount plate laser cut. It´s just attached for mockup
Image
Image
Image

Probably going to make a cover that mates up with the floorboard to cover up this hole.
Image

All the cables has to be cut and shortened. Going to be a big job.
Image

Waaaay too long.
Image

I´m attaching all the electronics using the old brackets that hold them inside the batterybox. I just make new mounts with these plates that I´m cutting to length and bending. They will be bolted to the bottom mount plate.
Image

Lastly I got this bar that is meant for mounting headlights on bikes. I use it for the speedo

What do you guys think?

Amazing brother, I am liking that electronic setup! The bike is outstanding so far. Wait until you see my springtime look lol

Is the case that holds the electronics going to be waterproofed?

Thanks guys!!

Well its not going to be totally waterproof, it will be made so that water wont run straight down onto everything. It will be somewhat open under and on the sides to keep everything ventilated. The stock batterybox is quite open to the weather so the stuff inside will tolerate some moisture. I haven´t made a design for the cover going over everything. I just have to get everything in its place first, then I will design a cover. I don´t think its going to be a big issue.

I love the mounting spot for the ecm...funny because I'm doing a wire tuck on mine and lengthening the wires and now you are shortening yours not fun haha!

Wow!!
Looks great!! Wheels are awesome.

Really like your idea with the electronics. Got any plans for the empty space under the BB?

Yeah it looks a bit bulky now. It´s as small as it can be and the outside dimensions is smaller than the batterybox. I will make a good looking enclosure for it when everything is in its place. I´m now locating where all the wires go before I cut up the harness and shorten it.

Here is some pics from today when I made the brackets holding everything. I used this point welder to attach some plates to the original ecu bracket. I did the same with the other brackets.

and here it is.

As you can see the harness will go between the battery case and the ecu.

Well I´m making a Metzoomer so the batterybox will be removed and the Metropolitan plastic will be there. Not much room left there. So that´s why I´m moving the electronics.

Haha yes, I had to lengthen on my other zoomer. So this is something else, a lot more wire work has to be done! I will have to extend some wires that will go up to the handlebar and switches and stuff.
