Ok... today is the day I begin stripping the scoot down to the frame for powder coat and then a complete rebuild. First plan for today, organize the garage. Tomorrow get the front frame separated. Then wait for parts that are already on order. I have a spankin' fresh rear frame (I think I twisted the old one) and I'll nip off all the parts that down need to be there. When I have all the parts, off to the custom shop to have them clean up my shitty cuts and powder coat.

I think I'm going to check out those mnntnbx rear pegs/sets. I love the zencustomz pegs, but my bike is so low that the long pegs on those bottom slots drag on a sharp turn. Maybe I'll move them up with the rear set. I'll have to put something down low on the bottom peg slots since those pegs make great frame sliders.

off to organize...

I got the Password rear pegs and when I was rolling the bike down to the road, one bit the back of my leg through my jeans. Made an impressive scratch, but thing as crazy as that guy who needed stitches when the same thing happened to him.

Ha, that's me! Somewhere in my thread I got the pic. But that's why I switched to a rounder peg. They do keep your bike up if you lay it down though, so some peg is better that no peg!

Ok... a bike colors discussion.

Frame PC'd matte black with polished aluminum pegs and accents or gloss black with the same accents?

Need to match some plastics with some matte black outta a rattle can, but no biggie. This shit is going to the PCer this week!

I have my preference, but I'd thought I'd ask for shits and giggles anyway.

Thoughts?

Matte & polished parts offers nice contrast in the shiny/dull compartment. I've opted for matte on my black parts

I'll post one tonight in the how-to section. I still have all the stuff and will take pics of the technique to heal. Maybe it'll save someone $1800.
