Thanks !

They measured right at 10.25....From the top to the axle hole.
Tire rubs the rear part of the front fender when I break hard .... So, I'm thinking about running a 80/90 to see if it helps.
If not; I'm gonna have to try cutting a little less on another set that I have.

Did you put different springs in yours, or keep stock springs?

Cool. Maybe that's my problem then....just chopped the outer portion and I bottom out like crazy

Nice met! I'm actually on the same page as you on my met. Does your rear tire rub at all?
I just installed a ruckus swingarm and I haven't put all the panels back yet.

Thanks !!
I mounted the 90/90 tire on the ruckus rear wheel with the OEM rear shock and still had to cut the inner wheel well and the bottom part of the tail light housing for it not to rub.
So you'll need to make some cuts OR run a larger shock for it not to rub.
All depends on the look; you are wanting.

Hope that helps. :)

So, I bought me an ATV (12x6) wheel and a kymco hub for around 40 bucks !! :)
Doing a little test fitting, tonight.
Looks like I'm going to need a 1 inch engine shift to center the wheel.
Planning on wrapping the wheel with a 140/70 ..... once I get everything aligned.
Pretty STOKED !!

Wanna see how much I can get away with; without actually adding a stretch.
Here's a couple of pictures.

Well; I needed to switch gears here .... and ended up mounting a mini 10x5, instead. :|
I soooo wanted to run that 12 inch wheel in the pictures I posted before; but that would'a required an fairly large engine shift and a stretch.

(Keep in mind)
I'm really trying to keep the shortest wheel base - as possible.

Here's what it looks like now -

Also; worked on a few different BLUES for the wheels .... Still up in the air on what color scheme I'll end up with.
Here's a picture of my fav:

Updated Pics of my MET

These parts were actually painted over plastic-dip - because; I wasn't sure about the color scheme....
I'm pretty impressed with the way it came out.
- 8 coats of PD (black)
- 4 coat of metallic rust-oleum enamel paint (great stuff to paint with)
- 4 coats of crystal clear rust-oleum enamel
- Wet sand with 1500; then 2000
- 4 more coats of crystal clear rust-oleum enamel
- No buffing yet - Waiting on full paint cure process; first

Took me a couple of weeks -
BUT - learned; oh so much for future paint jobs !! :)

Very nice. I like the mets with only the front Body panels and ruckus rear end.
