Long time no update:
This spring I threw on a Lazy Eye and ATR extension that's been sitting in the garage for months.
PWJDM Coolant Tank also pictured.
Traded the Yosh for MNNTHBX Jardine Pipe. My Ruck has never been faster, louder and more responsive.
Put some new bars on with the help of beanzie this weekend as well.
Image
Sadly, the MNNTHBX exhaust has to go. It's not too loud for me, but it is for Hellga and others in the neighborhood.

Chopped a SS Two Bros down to 7", hopefully throwing it on tonight

Got the chopped Two Bros mounted
Image
Mid-range is not as quick as the MNNTHBX and maybe slight loss of top end, but sound is now neighborhood compliant. :pissed:

The lean was getting progressively worse, so really had to the the poly bushings as my tire was getting a little rub from the shock
Image

Got some front end solid plates, powdercoated gloss black to match the mini fatty
Image
Also installed a super light flywheel from cookiemonster, 30gs less than previously lightened flywheel
REALLY like the way it performs, much more noticeable than the standard lightened flywheel
New Polini belt, did not really like the Kitaco

Things on my to-do list this winter, but I'm still taking the Ruck to work when I can.

Harness needs a clean up
Got a few ideas for headlight refresh
Lower the front fender

It's way better than my other lightened flywheel-
No GPS numbers but it pulls hard, even uphills.
I normally lose speed on a particular long, uphill slope that I ride frequently, but I was gaining and holding just right around 44 on the speedo. Don't know if that accurate or not, but in relative terms, I can say quite an improvement from previous setup.
Thanks again!

Did the carb ever work out for ya???

I can't remember if you already told me but I always try and touch base and see how things went/are going..

I went through all combos of 35,38,40,42 x 75,78,80,82,88 with KN shielded filter and MNNTHBX intake
The best was 35-75 which I found odd since I am currently at 38-82, but it would break up at WOT and plug was black even at 35-75.
Bought new E3 plug as well.
Sent you a PM describing what I've tried out, but all I got was more tuna!
Made a vow to eat tuna every night until I get it dialed in, but two weeks of tuna for dinner and I put the stocker back on.
Im no tuna master, but im going to try it out again this spring.
Thanks for checking in, do appreciate it!

Rode it for the first time in a month!
Nice warm 45 degrees out after getting nearly 3 feet of snow last weekend!

So a swing arm bolt came off inside the case while riding home.
Loctite! :headbashing:

Kick start does not work, killed the belt, drive face and clutch are ok, might need a little work.
Most importantly my variator is fine.

On the market for a cvt cover

Had a terrible summer trying to buy GET engines, finally got a 3rd one in decent shape.
Was running for a bit then put the engine into the met
Came across a pretty good deal from pshpaintball and have some slight progress, some wiring and exhaust to work out

It runs!
Drove around the hood, prob up to 30 mph just being cautious with brakes and any loose bolts I might've missed.

No electrical yet, need to take care of that this week.
Most importantly I need to bleed the front brake.

Worked pretty hard on this thing for a few weeks. Biggest hurdles were mini fatty brake cable, exhaust bracket, and wiring of course.

As far as tuning goes, I'll probably get a dr pulley variator and 1500 contra spring. Nothing too crazy

For what it's worth, that's exactly how low I'd want my seat when I get to that. Looks sharp man

Back on the road again! Feels great to roll to work on two wheels!
Still have things to take care of but that'll have to wait til winter.

Very nice. I've had a Buddy motor sitting on my workbench for a long while, just haven't had time to work on the swap.
