Kzuckus Built a '84 Honda Gyro

Hey, all. I'm without a Ruckus at the moment, my first '05 Black Ruckus I bought new and put over 6000 miles on it in 9 months riding back and forth to work every day.

Well, I sold the '05 and was missing it so much a few months later, I got my second Ruckus which was a '06 I got used from a student at ASU for $800.

A few mods later I got stupid again and sold it, leaving me without a scooter.

I bought a 1970 Honda Z50AK1 basket case that I built from the ground up (sold to buy a car)

Then it was a '67 Honda CL90 basket case with a bad tank so I built it to be a S90.

A couple motorcycles later.

After losing those to the bad economy, I found a 1984 Honda Gyro for $100.

It was non-running, but almost all there. I tore it down to bare bones:

Then reassembled, with some new parts:

To now have this:

Well, That's the long drawn out story. My next move, when the cash allows, is to find a Met and do a Ruck swingarm swap.

I only have the Gyro right now, along with a '84 Spree, '86 Spree, '82 Suzuki FA50 and a 1960 something Honda Cub 50 in a box. The two Sprees and the FA50 are for sale, The Gyro might be for sale if we do go back to Arizona, won't be able to fit it in the moving truck.

Nicely done. A clean Gyro is hard to find. You'll have no problem selling it if that's how you decide to go.

I was just thinking today about how you showed me how to hold a wrench with my thumb. Used that move about 2 hours ago.

No, unless you go custom

No Variator...2 speed automatic
