Picked up a 2002 Met for essentially nothing. Haven't tried to start it, or run a compression check yet, but plastics are decent. We'll see where this goes.

And it's always good to se new builds here. Nobody really posts their shit here anymore. So thanks for that.

It's a 35mm film splicer (I'm a film and television editor). Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, that's how movies were edited.

As for builds, well I've got 5 or 6 going right now:
1987 Honda Elite 150 (almost ready for paint)
1986 Honda Elite 150 Deluxe (likely a Skelly)
1994 Elite SE50P (runs, but needs deristricting plus fun)
1987 Elite SA50 (might part this out for quick cash to build the Met)

I'll also be pulling the engine and front end off a Kymco Senco (hoping to swap the front onto the Met), swiping a GY6 125 from a Lance Cabo, and helping a buddy fix a Kymco Like 200i (new front end and some plastics).

Gathering parts up:
-Got the front shocks and master cylinder off of the Kymco. Looks like a nice disk upgrade for free! Hope to switch out the rear wheel as well (even if I don't use the wheels, happy to have the caliper and disk)
-Kymco Exhaust as well. We'll see what looks better.
-Traded a 86 CH150 skelli project for a better cared for GET engine (and some other parts when I GET back into town).
-Ruck swingarm+gears, shock, rear brake cable, and rear wheel (don't want to do a stretch kit, just the arm - I know that'll mean cutting plastic)

Still have to figure out what I want to do for brake light and signals, but that's not a big deal on a non-running scoot.

Kymco Like 200i up and running! Just waiting for some plastic and a few bits. My friend is stoked!
87 Elite 150 - have to put the old carb back on (new carb doesn't have a vac nipple on bottom for pollution control).
87 Elite S SE50 - shoving into the corner
94 Elite SA50P - Drain fluids, and into the corner (2T is taking a back seat - don't have time to learn a new tech right now)
Lance Cabo torn down to the frame. Engine going into local shop's client Cali Classic (looks like I might have a load of GY6-125 stuff!). FWIW, the Lances are put together nicely. SYM has their stuff together.

Met is going up on the work bench this weekend. New gas, quick engine diagnose, and swingarm swap on the plate. I've been too worried about having everything. Need to GET working on it.
