Well I finally did it and bought a 2011 Ruckus. Finally found an orange one! So far I haven't done anything to it but I have ordered a bunch of parts.

Well I did find one issue with the bike. Looks like the headlight frame is bent. I guess it was dropped at one point. I already ordered another one and I'll shave it when I get it! I also need some hardware for the battery box there is a screw missing from the bottom.

Well I've been busy and out of the country but here is my progress. I've added a variator intake and exhaust. I also rejetted the carb and it seems to be running pretty good. Next up was cosmetics. New handle bars (carbon fiber) with a bike stem. Shaved turn signals front and back, r6 taillight, speedo mounted in the battery box, lower seat frame, pegs, fender delete, and a few other things.

Put a NCY stretch on it. It looks like it has the normal lean to the wheel that is a problem with this kit but it's so small I can't really tell. Also I shortened the intake tube and went from a 85 to 82 main jet. It isn't running lean from the plug but the power at 7500rpm seems to have dropped a little bit. I ordered some 5.5 sliders since I'm running 5.9 right now.

Well here is a little update I added a Doppler shock, custom made license bracket and some biltwell grips! Oh and have a neon led kit and renegade stereo coming! The bracket I cut the sides of the original and bent it down. Then bought a Harley bracket off revzilla and trimmed the top, drilled and tapped it, and painted it black. The Doppler is so close to the tire I'm a bit worried. Also it seems my ncy stretch has a bit of a lean to it or its just me. It's not bad so I'm not going to mess with it right now. I also have Michelin bopper tires here just need the time to mount them.

Got my bopper tires on today because my Doppler was rubbing the oem tires. Well it seems my back wheel is a bit bent. The gap goes from a quarter of an inch to an 1/8th of and inch. Anything I can do to straighten the wheel?

Well a little update. I installed 5.5 gram sliders and it has killed my top end a bit. (not from running out of RPM but from not having any power at 7500 rpm and it not gaining any rpm.) I had 5.9 rollers in it before which I'm guessing being rollers not sliders made a difference.. So I ordered some 5.0 sliders. While I was at it I ordered a Kevlar premium gates belt and a polini blue clutch spring. This week I installed my feign blaster CDI. I have it by the gas tank but need to find a better mount. Also I installed a renegade motorcycle stereo with two speaker pods under my seat and the amp In the battery box. With a on off switch by the key. I also installed neon leds that I can go thru all the colors.
