yeah... when I've lost instructions Greg would send me the pdf.

I can't remember if you have to measure and rivet for the dorf or if that's for the tail light. Whichever one you have to rivet on you'd want some kind of instructions.

They have what look like drywall screws that expand into the seat but no rivits. The turtle head has some rivits I believe. Basicly I just got to predrill holes for the expanding to grab onto and then bolt it up. Looks pretty simple. When I boght this eat though I thought it was already predrilled for the does but it def doesn't look like that is so... maybe it was the knockoff that it was on before???

yeah, that's the part of the install I'm talking about. The rivet/expander things you drill the hole for. I got a hand rivet tool at the home depot to put them in. Dunno what you had before... doesn't sound right though. The Dorf has those rivets.

Oh I didn't have anything before I bought this extra seat off the used section here... I looks like they used a extra bolt extra set of hands (where I will probably use some clamps lol) and a hammer till it was in. Idk I guess I will see when I get around to it....

Side note: wife is about to pop baby number 2 so I am sure my wrenching time will be cut down from "any extra time" to "... uh didn't I have a build to do"
:meh: meh joys of parenthood

congrats too. Since you'll be up in the middle of the night anyway, might as well work on the scoot.

Hey- did you ever try out your home hydro dip kit?

My GF got me one for Xmas... she got me carbon fiber and I had to explain the difference between the real stuff and that, lol....

but I haven't got mine out of the box yet. From reading the instructions, everything gets a black base coat, and it's too damn cold to paint here right now. I also noticed the water has to be at a certain temp, I figured a work around with that with a fish tank heater and pump to circulate the water. I still need to find an open sided container big enough.

I figure since it's fake- I can't have that anywhere on my scoots or car, lol, so maybe I'll do some of my wrenches and ratchets to see how it turns out.

I think it would be awesome if you could dip all the plastics in a sticker bomb film instead of tediously laying every single one out!

No I am in the same boat as you I would need a huge deep container to dip them into so I never bought the kit....

But one big enough to fit a rear frame gonna cost me a arm and leg!! So... might as well spend the money for a professional and not even take the chance of a 600$ plus learning experience...

Edit:
Unless you do it and say it's pretty hard to mess up then I am sooooo game!!

I used to do hyrdodip at one of the shops I was at..
A rear frame would be tricky. I'm not sure you could even do it in one dip.. Flat panels are much easier that round tubes.
It's literally easy as YouTube vids show tho.. Put film on water, wait, then dip part through film... Cut a sample and dip a car model or something to try it out.. you'll be suprised how easy it is..

so you are saying tape it off or something and do two(or mor) different dips? Would that even look right? like if i did half a dip and then the other half on a seperate dip? I think i would be able to tell... and might as well just put in the work and sticker wrap the whole thing, well since i already did the Met part, i kinda feel obligated to do a matching ruck part.... IDK
