Not my first scooter, but first 4 stroke 50cc. Want to keep it all stock, but we will see. Never know.
Only want to use it for off road, dirt trails. But I do have it licensed and insured. So it may see some street time.
Only have problems with the sitting position. Need more leg room. So im looking into different bars.

If you only mod one thing, replacing the stocker with one of those should be it. Makes a big difference on & off road.

Foot pegs did the trick for me, but I'd still like to change bars in the near future. The forks need some help too, when it comes to off road.

im trying to keep this very low cost, doing as little as possible
sometimes its fun to push something to the limit, and not rely on expensive parts
already have another scooter thats heavily modified


got pegs and mounted them in that lower rear hole
only rode around block but really felt good
looked at a set of bars I have on my zuma, and held them up
if I got a adapter the bars would be way lower then stock, something im trying to get away from
so I hope the pegs will help, unfortunately they are going off to get coated black so I wont be able to use them until they come back. I didnt want chrome and didnt want to paint them and have it wear off the first time I used them

I think I will also look at sportbike frame sliders to use as pegs, since they look about the same shape but already black
plus I can use a lathe and put some grooves in them for grip
and being softer probably take damage better or slip over rocks and wont dent, or chip
as long as I can find a long set

I seem to bottom out on the forks alot.
I've started pulling up on the front over potholes.
Sometimes it helps... sometimes it doesn't and it sounds like I'm going to shatter the triple tree.
I also like to stand up on the pegs and try to bounce the whole bike over the dips.

I'm gonna have to start packin' a bike pump and let some air out... see if that makes for a nice Cadillac ride.

im sure I read here you can modify the plastic under the seat area for this to fit, since I want to keep the floor

And add pegs to it
Even though I can mount pegs to the rear I find myself putting my feet forward more so I figure this will be better

Had a clock that mounted to my bars on my other scooter , so I took it apart and modded the battery box so it dropped in

Was going to do hid, but there are some problems with that and I figure keep it simple



Had a set like these in the past for my zumas, now I wish I didnt sell them. I paid almost $40 for these, the ones I had before were around $13 on ebay but that seller doenst have them anymore


The place I got them from also sells a 3400K super yellow pack too. Im thinking about making one side yellow. Rode with someone at night like that it looked very cool. I would think it may help others see you too.

Dont worry about the blue, if your in the direct view of the light its a white color, only off to the sides is the blue reflection in the lens

Doing a video now of the lumens with a light meter
So far it seems to put out the same amount of light, which is fine. As long as its not less im happy.
Also pictures and video taken at idle, the bulbs dim. When under power they get even brighter. Its very annoying and one reason there are problems if HID's were installed. Plus the plug is exposed to the weather.
