I'm gonna repurpose this post to share the info for metro to ruckus conversion:Here's what it ended up costing me to convert for those of you who are curious! Seat Frame-------Apr 20, 2011--32---yellow 09 GET Motor-----Apr 20, 2011--200--rear wheel/ruck swing arm Battery Box-------Apr 22, 2011--45---red Headlights/Bracket-Apr 24, 2011--70 Battery Shell------Apr 28, 2011--34---bought bolts/screws also Rear Frame-------May 6, 2011--111---red frame/misc. bolts Seat-------------May 26, 2011-70---clamps & motor mount bolt ECU/Harness------May 28, 2011-55---traded for side skirts ECU Mount/Lines---Jun 5, 2011--83---various bolts/resistors/relays & brake lines SUB-TOTAL: 700 - metro stuff for sale (I haven't sold anything past the front frame yet, already made 140) CONVERSION PROCESSFront End SwapHeadlightsRear EndRemoved SpeedoRear End Swap/WiringAll in all, it's definitely possible (and not nearly as expensive as some make it out to be). and it's been a good learning experience getting the cooter-scooter thus far. Now to make it sexy

My Met started out the same colors as your minus the flames. But hey, if it would make you feel better, ok, I hate your flames. I am curious though, what part of the Met will be left when your done? Everything (other than the bare front frame and brakes I think) is different between the two.

I guess as long as he got it for less than about 400 it was a good deal, at least thats what ive seen the front frames going for on here.. He could also sell off all the stock met parts and make some money back.. either way it should be a fun build! The flames look like shit... All the relays and the battery and several things. So far Ive only spent 394 in conversion stuff!

PM sent... ya i havent decided which i want to use, I will probably rock the met one for now unless someone were to trade straight up. why is there a desire for the metro ones?

because the met front end is the same demensions as a dio, so a complete dio front will bolt right up to a met triple tree
and the met harness will be worthless for what you are doing, along with the met ecu. just a FYI
