Hello everybody! I am just new arround and I would like to Introduce you my ride- originally purchased 2years ago in Belgium, now riding in Prague, Czech Republic. As my Zoomer is quite different from another machines arround (you know, the FI thing), I will be glad to exchange some info about the tunning experience with this motor. After one year of driving it on default, I have decided to make some upgrades. It was last year. I got the polini upgrade set - new vario, 6g weights, new ecu (polini) and new muffler (polini) which sounds wonderful. After that I got rid of the ugly plastic covers and got from Jiangwayne the NCY footbrace, lowered seat frame, kitako kick stand, and chrome chopper style blue mirrors. Yeah you know that the upgrade time never ends...its like in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: Once you get into the serious tunning business the tendecy is to push the limits as far as possible. However I am here quite limited by the strict technical EU norms so I cannot get to motor swap or fatty as the guys on the regular technical check will not pass me as street legal machine...waht a pity...anyway, for this winter I just started to collect new items for Project Choppster:
ATR extension kit (Standard functions)
New front fender (Standard functions)

Rucksters washers, frame covers, axle pullers, etc...

Jiangwayne daytonas with front brake discs, kitaco air filter to swap for the ugly airbox because I got some issues with the polini ecu (but this is the long story).

and of course red metalic paint for the mainframe, fenders and forks (just working on the visualisation, will post asap i will be finished).

Yeah I am still thinking about the blinkers and rear light change but as I have said, I am little bit afraid about the technical norms to comply with and the safety on the roads as it is jungle arround....

The last thing: not sure if to change the handlebars as I found a very comfy position behind the original ones when driving chopper style (legs in front just hangign down from the pegs) and even iof the drag ones look great I think it will be uncomfortable for longer distances to drive...I have been thinking about ape hangers but agin there could be problem with rewiring and I dont think I want to go for it...
so far is the state of art of my rucking, stay connected, new info will be added through the rebuilding:)

Fear and Loathing.. nice. Make sure you get the Sandoz laboratories designed tires inflated to 75psi!

In the meantime before the chop business takes place, I have made an experiment with panzer hoses as advised to me by one old chopper guy. Check this out, I think that it turned out quite well:

thanks, it is because it is not plastic but metal. Pros and simultaneously cons of this solution is, that you can put it on without unplugging the wires, but you have to be extremely cautious, because the hose is interconnected from inside (the upper part of each round has hooked edge), so once you open it you have to follow the hooks when you are connecting it back and if you choose wrong way of the turning, it is quite pain to get it back connected. Positive is, that the hose is actually functional as it has elasticity given by the connections so it does not even look better, but it is also functional. Problem is, that it is quite hard, so I have rolled on in last two days about 2 metres of it and my fingers ale completely wasted...my original plan was to put it on the all wires and hoses where possible but according to this pace it could take weeks

Soo expect for some problems with the CDi which I have to solve and possibly overcarbonated cylinder, the things are going quite well and the items are slowly comming to my doors:

thank you for your support brothers It will take some time before I will start rebuilding (possibly autumn) as I still have not collected all the parts- the most important ones are just on the way from Taiwan (daytonas wheel set with disc brake system and forks). As I want to enjoy the driving the season as much as possible, this will be autumn-winter game:)



Concerning the beers, it was just a beggining- as you could see I have only uninstalled the foot frame, howover afterwards I have been to lazy to take some pics:)

Anyway its just a shame that a guy from czech Republic is posting pics with Heineken here, but you know that was the only shit the guy on the corner in deli had:(

sooo today arrived last parts needed for the rebuild- ATR rear shock- Kevin Thanks again, this is really great piece!- and the Jiangwayne daytona (8holes) wheels set+brake disc, kitaco mesh grips and kitaco radiator cover- I couldnt resist and in my lunch pause I ran to mount it:). When Ill have time, Ill post you with pics. Now just wait up to the October, dismantle the machine, powdercoat+paint, apply chromes, add all the stuff and prepare all the custom works (this is little surprise for all of you following this thread).
