Post subject: HatchWorks Forza300 swapped ruckus Roller Update 4/3/17
PostPosted: Tue May 24, 2016 1:50 pm

so ever since i sold my ruck to buy the zuma i have felt like i was missing the thrill side of riding. and after loosing my car to an accident its now my only way of transportation except when it rains then the wife has to give me a ride to work.

and with a recent pay increase i decided to start saving up and start to build a ruck from scratch and while starting the planning of the build i decided to create a small 1/3 size representation of that same build so the full size bike will be 75% the same as the model will.

on to the pics
full build
Image

THE REAR FRAME
Tubing rolled to 180° bend in the rear like the danmax one piece frame but with the traditional stock break in the frame for the front cross member
1/3: 1/2" DIA DOM TUBING (LEFT SIDE SHOCK)
FULL:1.25 DIA DOM TUBING .125 WALL(CENTER SHOCK)

SEAT AND SEAT FRAME
DORF SEAT FRAME
1/3 STOCK SHAVED AND DORF SEAT FRAME
Image

FULL SIZE
Image
dorf seat frame and full custom seat pan to flow with the seat frame and rear frame made from .125 wall sheet with air tanks and compressor mounted underneath the seat and mounted to allow the seat to lift twoards the front. Cut bent and welded to hold shape just need to fill in the rest of the holes and prep for the cap nuts to be weleded on the seat side of the pan to allow the compressor and tank brackets. Seat will uppolstered by a local rider and friend rev's customs

WHEELS
Front and rear
1/3 front & rear 6 spoke spiral simular to gsr blades
Full size front 10" 5 star
rear 12x7"(2+5 offset) Douglas Rokstar (this will get a custom made hub with disk on the inside of the wheel to show off the beauty of the wheel)

BATTERY BOX AND HEADLIGHT SETUP
Stock lowered with lazy eye setup
1/3
Image
FULL SIZE
Image

THE TANK COVER
1/3 NCY STYLE
Image
FULL SIZE:Full custom tank with laser cut top to match. 2.3 gallon capacity before fuel pump mount (measured with measuring cup and water before welding on top this needs to be redone to confirm)
Image

HANDLEBARS
1/3 KILLER SCOOTER BEEFY BARS
Image
FULL SIZE
Hatchworks Lowpro Clipons (Work in progress and will be a repeat of my 1st handlebars i made with slight differences)
Image

FRONT FENDER
1/3
Ducatti Monster still have to refine my printer settings when i get it back up and running
Image
Fullsize
Grom stock

SHOCKS
1/3
NCY Style forks and stock style rear ruckus shock
Image Image
FULL SIZE
Feign modified for air(pending) and Racing Bros modified for full air (minor modification req)
Image Image

ENGINE
Originally i wanted to do a z125 swap then after some great debate i wanted to be different from the rest so i decided on a honda forza 300 2014 and newer for all the good stuff(fi, water cooled, bottom mount)
1/3:
Image
FULL SIZE

yeah im the only one in my room no one to bitch and complain except me.

here is the caliper bracket general idea im gonna be using a ph80 caliper and a 190 or a 220 rotor dont know what will fit yet. im gonna have to test fit both sizes.

Image
the holes on the ends will be oblong of .030" each direction so if there is measurement (which im sure there might since the rear most bolt is offsest by almost an inch from the face of the other 2 bolts) i can still fit it.

sorry for the lack of updates most of the progress is up on my instagram but here is the most current pic as of today with the motor attached to the mount and frame layed out on the ground. and the2nd pic is the 2 halves of the frame in the back of my car. (i hope this bike fits in the car. it would make things easier when i go to meets out of the local area.

Oh man!! Any updates to this?
I saw a Forza engine for sale and I was looking at the original mount to see if that would work on a ruck with modifications.

ok so ive been neglecting doing updates on the build due to work (super busy) and home life (just had kid #3). so on to the pictures of the bike at different angles.

overall length from tire to tire 89" (7'5")
all aired out no kick stand required.

max height off the ground is 4" at the motor mount migth be a little more due to the carpet
