Nice second hobby. I have a great friend who is a bike freak and collects all these obscure parts and frames.

I recently got rid of a ton of old 80s and 90s freestyle parts, along with a couple of complete bikes. Where I live is not ideal for riding nice bikes around. Shame.

Currently rejetting for aftermarket exhaust and K&N intake. I noticed fuel leaking out of the intake port of the carb after my last 2 runs. I'm not sure if this is normal during rejetting or if there's something else I need to look at. I did have the carb apart yesterday to shim the needle and rejet but was very careful putting it back together. Any ideas? I really want to get it running well today so I can ride to work tomorrow.

I can't do pics at the moment but the intake is set up like Sanjuro's diagram. Slow jet is a 38, tried 80, 82 and 85 main jets and after each run there's fuel coming out of the intake port.

I'm in California. I live in Los Angeles so it's pretty easy to get to the foothills of the Angeles National Forest (and out of this horrible city!)

Lil Bastard is a very appropriate name these days. I don't usually update the build thread until whatever I've been doing to the bike is completed successfully, but I'll give a rundown with pics to bring you up to speed anyway. We haven't been getting on very well. I'll explain more after the pics.

Bike had been running nicely with 5.5g sliders in the Polini, revs held around 8300 during acceleration up to around 30mph at WOT, then climbed to ~8600rpm. Top speed 43-44.
