Wow. Lots of man hours put into this. Good job and thanks for the inspiration to tackle the CVT and gears.

UPDATE

Starting the new year with a new look and cleaner build (literally)

So I broke her down for a liberal cleaning and routine maintenance

A clean bike is a happy bike 8)

Removed carb and swing arm then taped the engine off

Going to be using Simple Green and a whole lot of toothbrushes

Not sure if it looks like a big difference but it was really dirty, especially the hoses

Sun was going down but I was able to take off the radiator and coolant lines with the last bit
of daylight

With the radiator off I took the time to clean it up a bit

With a clean radiator comes clean parts :banger:

Shout out to TotalRuckus member "TOANEEZY" for the GET parts

Wrapped the header for a cleaner look

Next I decided to paint the engine so with that in mind came more
tape and a sketchy set up

Image

Image

I let it completely dry for 24 hours before bringing it inside

Here's the finished product

What a difference a can of spray paint makes! I've painted my engine too. Makes the whole bike look cleaner. :highfive:

Pretty good on the mount and shock extension.

Like seeing how each person address that issue.
