As far as exhaust. Yes I 100 percent need one. Is there a way to match an exhaust to your existing jets? Like do they know what works with what. In my above pix you can see my jetting numbers...

Don't even try to shortcut that. Jetting is super easy, and the only way to make a bike run to it's full potential. There's a good "how to" on our site. www.mnnthbx.com

matching exhaust to jets is backward... if you're gonna tune, TUNE!
Otherwise leave it stock :ucrazy: :ucrazy:

i knew you guys were gonna say that. LOL... Wishing I would have done it in order. I will get the exhaust, re-jet, use the tach, and figure out my sliders.. no easy way out on this one. damn. lol

I shall intimately know my ruck by the time im done with this. haha

on you main page, the ruckus... what is that clear cyclinder with the "coolant or oil" in it... shit looks awesome.

Looks like something you would find on Bane from batman.. I want one.

Also, i looked over your products, and Ill be getting some stuff from you. Probably starting with the loud exhaust you have and the turtlehead tail light kit.

Gotta finish up the performance issues and im on it.

link for taking your stock muffler off. I don't know why but i suck so much ass at the search feature of this site. I don't know if I am not narrowing down or what. I'm sure its probably easy though...

taking it off doesn't look like rocket science, but just in case there is any tips or hints...

I'm going to go ahead and get the exhaust per your advice, before i try to re-jet..

After exhaust I should be good to go on trying out each of the jets, taking notes on flats etc..

There are 2 10mm nuts on the bottom, two 12mm for the bracket, and another 10mm holding fender support. It's cake.

Don't lose your exhaust gasket. It may come off on the exhaust, but it may stay in the head.

after a looooong time off modding or riding I decided to go for a ride the other day on the ruckus.... when it hit me... I gotta finish this bastard. (laughs) I got pre-occupied. I built a ghillie sniper suit DIY youtube... bought my 2001 jeep wrangler and brought it back to life... got into cross bows and then I got on the whole "survival preppin" kick. i have hobby a.d.d... (laughs) Anyways.. i read over my thread here, and I got my focus back on track.

Now that i am not scared of breaking it, and the new smell has worn off, I think I am going to have more fun modding.. In the beginning, for some reason i had a lot of anxiety. it was brand new, and i remember when i was putting the cdi box in, my mind was stressing. haha

I'll post some pictures by the end of the month of new stuff im doing.

This is mostly a log for myself, but if anyone is reading this, cheers. thx.

see ya in couple weeks. :D

[rimg]Image[/rimg]

so i decided i am going to go with stretch kit, then handle bars, then exhaust... that is what i plan to tackle.

i like the idea of the jdm 6.5 mount because frankly it sounds easy. BUT

I think I will regret it because it won't hold a fatty tire....

anyone know of a fatty mount that is a very easy install?
i watched a video on the trs fatty mount, and it had you grinding shit off the frame.
maybe that is a must on all fatty mounts though... so i don't know...

i realize that once i put on the new fatty mount, my brake lines, throttle etc will have to be replaced.
how much of a bitch is that?

also, i have seen vids that make it seem like you have to stretch the tire yourself over the rim. I don't feel comfortable at all with that... if any of you have a fatty tire, how did you do it? Can you get them ordered already assembled on the rim?
