Heads up... That headlight bracket is going to allow a lot of bounce in the lights without that top anchor point. Eventually it will wear down the crappy weld and fall off on you at the worst possible time.

been awhile since updating this post. here is how it sits now. still havnt found a shock for the rear. need to get a new front tire and plan on modding the front shocks to lower them a little. need to figure what size front tire to get though. want to do a gy6 but after thinking about it, i might be better off starting over with a fresh build since id have to get a new rear tire, motor and stretch kit :meh:

Mnnthbx has lowered springs for the stock forks for under 40. I bought a pair, installed them and then decided to go with a disc brake setup in which I switched out my forks. Never even rode on the new springs... So if you're thinking about going to a disc I suggest waiting it out rather than doing what I did. Either way I love seeing another WA ruck. Keep us updated

Thanks. I thought about that too. Still up in the air about disk brakes on this one. Might just try and sell it then go all out on the next one. Still not sure

I was able to drill the stock forks to 12mm, grind the tab, and weld on a caliper mount. Then I just used a stock gy6 front wheel w/ 190mm rotor. Worked mint with mmthbx springs..
I now have rrgs, but the old setup wasnt terrible at all..
