I decided the floating seat frame wasn't good enough. There is a bit of sag... Enough that the R6 taillight will do below the frame and become obstructed.
BC is the California of Canada when it comes to mods. The VPD are cracking down on nodded Ruckus' this year and issuing VIs like crazy, so the turtlehead is gonna go.
As such, I made brackets so the seat doesn't move as much. A paint job is definitely in the near future, now!

Yamaha R6 integrated taillight installed. I made the bracket rather than putting it under the seat because I'd get busted without it being line-of-sight...

stretched!
finally...this has been one of the mods I've been looking forward to the most. This was a huge pain in the a$$. I tried to cut corners by not fully removing the engine.
Step 1) Fully remove the engine. disconnect all cables, wires, and hoses. There's no shortcuts here! lots of blood was lost!

Installed ground effects! Hooked it up to an LED switch. It looks like there's a spot light under there... But it's actually just too bright for the camera to pick up correctly.

Thanks! It's actually from a Volvo Sunvisor. You can buy the sunvisor aftermarket for like $50 and then just dig the module out of it. Not sure if you can just get the module. It's called a HomeLink module.

I've seen similar cheap/universal sunvisors with homelink integration for half the price. They'd work, too, they're all 12v!

A lot of good little welding DIY's. I'm doing the same except with a 220V AC stick welder so I like the ideas.

Good work keep it up

I put some reflective tape on the side of the R6 tail light... This makes it comply with local regulations. You need 2 orange on the front sides, and 3 red on the rear.

Also... BONUS drive by video. Stock exhaust and intake at the moment, but, ground-fx!

Got rid of the lights in the battery box... The left switch it an on/off led that controls the starter kill. The left led illuminates when the high beams are on.
The right switch controls the electric start, and not sure what to do with the led... Suggestions???

If you swap out your handlebars you most likely won't have a place to mount your signal indicator... When or if that comes up, you can use that LED as it!

And I love the garage door remote! It's such a big deal to me to have one on all my vehicles. I made my Honda emblem on the battery box my garage door remote button.

That's actually a great idea! I'm going to wire that up now and get rid of the lamp That's there!

Im thinking I don't have to buy a engine kill/start assembly when I get the new bars... Either make the left on/off switch do engine kill, or short them out so they're always on...

Thanks!
