Figured i might as well start a thread to track my build. After my brother bought one i knew i needed a Ruck.

bought a 2003 with 2800km on it for a smoking price in Aug 2013.

the day i brought it home;

The GF and I ripped into it right away;

Bike just needed the carb cleaned and the oil changed to get her running.

I emediaty ordered up some jets, kn variator with belt and some wieghts for running.
Bought a PWJDM mount and some drag bars. Also put the speedo in the battery box.

Honestly I love the look of the bars but can't stand how tangled the wires get.

Once we got the bike jetted right for our altitude I still had a terrible mid throttle bog. After reading the threads on needle shiming we ended up swaping out the 2003 needle for an 2006+ needle. this made a surprisingly huge differeance.

2003 needle on the right;

Back in September i ordered up some Hot Rod Hell Knuckle Gussets, MNNTHBX stiffer springs and intake bracket, Exhaust from WeBike and a Mojo 12x8 stretch with front wheel covers.
