Coming:
- Daytona mirror for the righthand side (I already have an adapter with a left thread, strange that Honda makes a difference between the lefthandside and the righthandside threadings)
- Backrest
- underseat box
- Chanito windscreen (I hope he is read to ship em, cause he has all the material in stock he says)

Once these are installed, there will of course be an update, so stay tuned ;)

so, no offence, but I wont participate, I dont have enough trust. Why? I dont know him, and I sure as hel am not a longtime member on this board to make such a deal. I am sorry.

so again, no offence, but you'll have to try to search a little harder for parts of that particular scooter OR you find another European on t his board that is willing to help you (because they ship to mostly all EU countries) OR you can start by just sending a simple email to the webmaster and ask if you can make the order for that fender and if he is willing to ship it to the US...

But maybe if you were a little bit more polite or had more manners, I would think it over.
I didn't got 1 thank you, from the moment I replied on his PM (wich was kinda rude) to his reply in this board, not one sign of appreciation for the information.

And not even a "please" in his last question.

All that helps making it easy to decline his offer.

cool. understand. sorry if i came in the wrong way. i didnt mean to say anything to offense anyone here. thanks for all the info and help.

okidoki, and no problem

I hope you find a dealer and again: try mailing the shop, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a shipment especially for you.

lol whats EFI?

ps: I already go 55 km/u, wich is 10 km/u too fast, the legal limit here for 50cc scooters is 45 km/u
And in my country they dont laugh with such violations, the traffic laws are strict and if you violate such a speed law and they find out, you can see your bike confiscated for several months in the worst case + fines.
But as long as I keep myself low profile on the road and dont draw too much attention with high speed runs, I should be fine.

So I am not looking for extra performance in topspeed. Better take-off however can never hurt :)

ps: the police station is litteraly a few hundred metres of where I live :-)

ow kay, thought so

and yeah, tell me about it :) but hey, I look at it at the bright side: I am the fastest of the 50cc in my neighbourhood ;) lol
Its no rocket sience to ugrade a zoomer to go 70km/u (to lazy to convert to mph lol) for example, but thats suicide in legal terms.
If you have bad luck with the police officer, they can not only confiscate your bike, but they can also take away your drivers license for something like that.

It would make more sence to put the limit to lets say 55km/u, just for safety purposes, because 45 is really too slow.
55km/u actually is more or less acceptable in our busy european city traffic you know ;)
You should see how cars move along in our cities...

In that sense, the motorcycle is the fastest way to go anywhere! (actually, I am going for my motorcycle licence now)
But big downside is that a biker in our regions is kinda dangerous (too busy), unless you keep your speed low, again :)

Didnt expect this at all, but the windscreen has arrived today from the State! 8-)
So THX CHANITO! :banger:

And personally, I dig the look of my Zoomer as it is 8-)
Its not extremely modified, but still has its own look and character.
I've already made many heads turn here in my city, wich is nice

So I don't have immediate plans to add or alter something on it.
Here are some previews:
Image
Image

A Zoomer already has a chopper like style to it in the scooter world due to the low riding and seating position, imo, but with the attach bar, the backrest, the pegs and the windscreen it kinda looks like a mini chopper. Lol

More pics to come this weekend, I hope. So stay tuned ;-)

EDIT:
makes me wonder if the messages here about the Chanito windscreen are accurate, that state that you go a little bit faster due to the windscreen :)
Cant wait to test it out.

cool bike man, its always good to see another zoomer in the family! Concerning the top end speed, if you are fine with 55kmh keep it as it is- even if it is better to have some reserve for the traffic flow, its is not only lega suicide but more a financial one, trust me. You will not squeeze more than 75kmh for the cruising speed but the gain is not proportionate to the costs and reliability (see my thread for details). Its better to keep it as it is and for the spare money buy a big bike. Thats the best you could do:)

cheers

Filip

hehe, I know exactly what you mean, we both being from europe know how strict rules an regulations are in our trafficlaws. Especially when it comes to topspeeds.

Like I said, I am not interested in changing or modifying my zoomer more than it is now (although Americans would find my Zoomer rather stock, I would assume ;)), let alone make changes to the engine. Its fine for me.
In its current state (stock but with another vario to make it a little bit faster in topspeed and take off) its also more fuel efficient, wich is no crazy argument to keep things as stock as possible enginewise :)

But overall, I am happy with my topspeed, (its actually illegal as it is now), however it couldnt hurt to pull away faster, although I am not really complaining about that too.
I have yet to meet a scooter thats faster than mine and starts off quicker than mine :)
I can even keep up with many of those loud and noisy 2 stroke scooters out there. But in the 4 stroke scooter department, I am the king of the road in my area LOL

Ow, and I am learning to get my motorcycle licence ;) I wanna get me one of these:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56vgQgjTfts
a Honda CB1300 S, that should give me all the topspeed and pull I could ever wish for ;)

Man, its interresting to hear you are the king of the road in Belgium with zoomie- I am rather the slowest part of the pack usually, even if I have done almost everything (except for swap) to make my baby fast(er). I think it is good decision to go for a new vario and better belt and thats it.
That cb is soo sick! I love the modest retro look...its great, good choice!

hehe yeah, but I think you would blow me out of the water with your heavily modified Zoomer, I just replied in your topic asking a question about your engine btw ;)

and indeed, I like that retro look as well, those modern naked bikes are nice as well, but I would like to be able to cary some luggage boxes once in a while, without them looking too stupid on the bike

I was actually in doubt wether to choose the Honda or the Yamaha XJR1300, another cool looking retro bike, but the technology in the Honda is still superior (Yama is air cooled) and the handling is supposed to be better, so overall the Honda is a better bike.
And the look of the Honda grew onto me.

So can't wait :) But first things first, Motocycle license!
