Just bought another part, a rear light bracket so I can delete the reflector for a cleaner look...I plan to order new blinkers as well.

Perfect, I had no issues at all.....I bolted in the front, then the rear just to hand tightness and then slowly tightened them...like if you where doing head bolts or torquing down a wheel. On top of that the paint finish was perfect, definitely worth the 104$ I spent!

At first I wasn't sure if I liked being so low, as im 5"7, but once I got used to spreading my legs out a bit more at stops, the lower center of gravity really makes a difference in handling.

Ghetto front pegs until I get something cleaner. Works pretty well and looks ok for under 10$

Working on my reflector-less tail-light bracket, but im not sure im happy with how its turning out so I might not install it.

New turn signals are in the mail from asia, and I bought a magnetic oil drain plug.

So I scratched the idea of the front pegs on account of removing the floor plastics! I said I wouldnt but I got bored and figured id try it and I love the look. I ordered a NYC tank cover and plan on getting a silver PWJDM cap.

I still need pegs for the front, and plan on getting drag bars for the front.

Floorboard delete!

Here's a teaser until my gas tank cover comes in the mail and I can take some decent pics.


I used auto door trim on the cargo try portion of the plastic so it has a nice clean edge. I kept the plastics under the gas tank, as well as the cable channels. The bare metal looks terrible though so I think this summer I will try and get it painted with something more durable than I can do in my garage...or possible just a truck bed liner or something really really durable.

I want to get some nice flex wire loom to get the cables all nice and tidy, and a silver gas gap.

What are you thinking for a gas tank cover?

I've been shopping for one too.

I got the NCY one...honestly I wish I had spent more and gone with another brand. It works, but the fitment isnt very good, and it feels really really cheap, I was expecting ABS plastic, or something, and its more like dollar store toy packaging plastic. Once I get a layer of paint on it maybe it will feel more solid.

I got my turn signals, but they are so cheap Im not even going to run them. I did install my new taillight bracket with the reflector delete, and got a black license plate frame, looks pretty clean!

I got some nice braided loom and cleaned up the front wires after the floorboard delete, and ordered a Yoshimura frame brace/ front pegs. Its supposed ot be here tomorrow if weather dosnt slow down fedex.

I also ordered a Kijima handlebar clamp, and carbon key guard form Battle Scooter, and plan on getting a set of drag bars once my ebay bucks come in in april.

I still want to mod my exhaust to look better, but dont want to re-jet, not sure where thats going to go.

I feel like since removing my extra intake hoses the ruck is running better, but that may not be true. Im at 250 miles, at 300 ill do another oil change and see if my magnetic plug was worth 20$, then again at 600, then 1000 and every 1000 after that is the plan, and at 1000 im going to change to synthetic.

Oh yah, I got a pwjdm gen 1 gas cap, it looks good but i fudged my keyhole up so I need a replacement gas cap now.....

Yoshimura bars on, so I went for a 30 mile ride. Bars are amazingly light and feel great. I got my order from battlescooter today too so I put my carbon key guard on. The kijima clamp looks good, ill need to fab up a bracket for the blinker light though. Drag bars should be here monday or tuesday!

Started my handlebar swap, I got luck on the left side screws, and got one of the throttle side off without a problem. I stripped the last one with hardly any effort...wtf honda, but dremeled a slot and got it out pretty easy. I put the kijima clamp on, and got the speedo mounted up, bars come tommorow but it might take a day to get them on due to drilling holes for the controls and whatnot. Its way lower than I was expecting but it should be a more comfortable stance. When its all said and done I hope to devote dome time to getting the ruck detailed and do a nice photoshoot.

Them screws on the controls are hard to Get off I did the same thing.
I striped them, then dremeled them, then went to the hardware store to get new ones.
I had to cut my bunny ears off to Get the drag bar on. It is low but better for the Ruck tuck.
I'm down for seeing the pics of your Ruck after the new bars are on all detailed up.

As soon as I get ahold of a second headlight bracket a bunny ear delete will be in the works, as well as relocating the horn.

Im waiting for a day without sideways rain to snap some good pics since the handlebar swap...ruck looks so much better now and rides waaaaaaaaaay better.
