After the Dynatek died I started purchasing parts. I either bought new or used from TR members:

09' Ruckus engine/swingarm w/ 1200 miles
Posh cdi
PC20 carb and manifold
KN filters
130/90/10 Pirelli rear tire
Tiny Tach
Daytona rear shock
"Glory Red" rear fenders, front fender, headlight surround and speedo cover
red instrument bulbs
Sylvania Silverstar H4 bulb
Ruckus rear fender

I did the engine swap and other parts over the past 4 days and whoopee, 50mph!

Out with the old.

In with the new!

Check out the ghetto rear fenders. These were the most expensive body parts from Honda. I had been looking for some on the TR website when I found a member that had some in a more prefered color so........ I bought em! I ordered the headlight surround and speedo cover from Honda and with the encouragement of my favorite passenger

I got a new look on the outside to go with my new found speed increase!

Finishing cosmetic touch was some red instrument bulbs to match the body work.

At this point i have about $1800 in my 05' Met II. All the people on a different site (that will remain anonymous) advised me to sell it and buy a new one when I asked how to make it go faster. Trent turned me on to TR and I got nothing but positive feedback about modifying what I have. I have learned so much and had so much fun in the process! Thanks to all the TR members who have put up with stupid questions and PM's. I appreciate your help and couldn't have done it without this site and your help. Now lets see if I can go a week without spending any more $ and just enjoy riding it.

Honestly, your bike (minus the PC20 and Yosh) is how the met should have come from the factory. Very nice Stock+ look.
Very clean work! I am always stoked to see another Met II not getting tossed aside. That's what mine is! :banger: Hell, mine was even the same color blue!
To my knowledge, Longballer is still the only one to pull of that scheme properly. That red really is a awesome color, the best one, imo.
Good work mang, keep goin! :banger:

Gotta get working on the front end next. Front forks are junk! 27,000 miles, what would I expect, right? I got a Ruckus front wheel but from everything I have read on TR there is no way to mount it centered with the metro forks. Anyone know how difficult, how much needs to be changed to use Ruckus forks so I can use the Ruckus wheel until I'm ready to drop the cash on Dio wheels and front disc? Also, could I still use the Met front fender with Ruckus forks?
