Post subject: Page 20 something.... Let's rebuild again!
PostPosted: Fri Aug 01, 2008 11:10 pm
Well - Here is my ride thread.. Instead of creating a new one, I'll just update a very old one :D

Lots of changes are always going on, and what better way to archive and access the total build than to use TR? :banger:

This is as it sits tonight - 1/21/09

The Ruckster rPro Frame brace is so awesome! The pegs arrived 2 days later - all the way from Cali :D I'll keep this in chronological order moving forward. Enjoy my little archive of images!

Yo, moved it to the "Member's Rides" forum to start your own thread.

You can change the title of the thread by editing the first post.

Got a few new pics tonight of the ruck and my new met 1. Yeaaaaa baaaaaaby! So glad I got the met reassembled after this long weekend in the paint booth - never thought it would come together so quickly.

Check the photos!

Time to work on the moped tomorrow and get the new jets in. New head gasket, intake valve, and cylinder bolts have made a HUGE difference. I'll post some photos of the progress soon. 70cc kit and Technigas Next R exhaust is next on my list

Here are some progress pictures. I really suck at picture taking and documenting. These are just to show you what I've been up to and such and for me to have an online archive  .

Here is the highly anticipated rPro framebrace. I just absolutely love it! Not to take away from the other frame braces - but this has a great design and engineered with functionality and quality in mind.

I really liked this NCY seat, but it was time to get a seat chop.. It should be arriving any day now

New Kickstarter from Kitaco. It is very nice, but I decided on going back to the Stage6. Maybe it was the jagged edges? Regardless, it's really nice and durable and the spring loaded tip is a nice feature.

I really like the Kijima stand, although I wish it had even more lean sometimes

Here is a shot of the new K&N filter setup. (Thanks SJ!) If you look real close, you can see the new jets installed too :hihi: :hihi:

And here is the new rPro brace with pegs..

The frame brace, frame pegs, seat, and gas tank are on their way to the paint booth to be color matched to the rear frame. I am debating on whether to send the radiator cover, chrome sliders :hum , handlebar, and variator cover also..

Thanks man! The speedo stopped working a few weeks ago at 1998.. I haven't figured out what the problem is. It's either the speedo cable, or the speedo itself. I'm planning on using a Nuvi 205w soon, so it hasn't been a priority to fix..

I've installed the Posh CDI, Coil, JC Flywheel, K&N setup, and jets, but I haven't been able to see MPH figures yet :(

Hopefully I pull the trigger on this GPS soon so I can see real data.

This is my "go to" bike because of its reliability, but I do ride my others pretty frequently. I probably rode 5K+ miles on different Ruckii's in 2008. How many miles do you have so far?

Just got back from L.A. and my pieces were finished!! I can't wait to get them all back on. Before the install, I'll finish the frame polish.

Props to Skrannon for the great work! :banger: The welds really smoothed out nicely - much nicer than I imagined!

Check out the pics.
