Gy6 conversion (125cc)
Disc brake to front
Powder coated frame
RRGS forks
Dorf seat
& so much more, I decided after selling my yellow zoomer that I just had to do a gy6 conversion, so I looked for the right priced zoomer and went for it, was lucky to get a zoomer for just £800, then my task started, after getting parts for the yellow one this time around seemed so much easier, I had good contacts in the states so I used them all again, purchased the stretch kit and loom from a nice guy in the states who I got chatting to one day on FB, Brad Frasier :banger:
if your thinking of doing any custom work on yours ffs use one vendor, it will save you a lot of time and money, import fees hurt :headbashing:
I would recommend FLP, Evan is a topman.
theres also a lot of members in the uk who are here to help, Chris (Ramashek) hes helped me bundles, another topman, thank you my friend :highfive:
And Peter from Sidcup I owe you a big thank you also :highfive: without the help I don't think I could have done it that's for sure, thank you my friend :highfive:
and another big thank you to another great guy Shaun Hateley, this guy gave up a lot of his time to explain a lot to me, thank you my friend :highfive:
but remember this, if you are going to convert your zoomer you will need plenty of $$$$$$ :meh:
it will break your bank account if you don't do it right
I should have done a lot more pictures of all the stages I was at on my build but like a kid I just wanted to do it quickly but right so my time was taken up with my build and not the camera, if theres people ive missed I can only say sorry, but again a big thank you for all your help along the way :banger:

All started here

Then the strip down and powered coated

Parts started to arrive

Engine in and exhaust arrived

Front disc brake conversion was really simple

With lots of problems with the loom it finally got done with the help off Batman

All in all really happy with the way it looks
Really goes well and what a difference it makes with a bigger lump in it
Hope you like it
P;S
2nd time ive done this & the last :highfive:

You nailed it this time! Looks the DB's! We ought to hook up so as I can hear how that pipe sounds, Loomies Cafe at some point?

Powder coat in Aldershot £60
Ijust sold the bike
Looking to stretch the arse of a Grom next
Just searching the net for one now
Shame it's come to a end of my road on the Zoomer scene
Perhaps or maybe have a Grom section in UK page
Is this possible? Better still make me a admin and I'll add the section myself;)
Would like to hang around, but if this is not possible there's no point
Hanging around
Will see if anything becomes of a Grom/MSX section
